The air was thick with anticipation as MUNA's tour bus pulled into the California venue's back lot. Katie , Naomi, and Josette were buzzing with excitement per usual. They were also happy to have the boys there tonight, a usual occurance. As she finished up her hair in the bathroom, Katie felt a strange twist in her stomach. The undeniable tension between her and Phoebe was growing stronger with every glance they shared. They had known each other for years, and the band owed a lot to the boys, specifically Phoebe. She tried to ignore the feeling, tonight was a big venue. 

Once Katie had finished getting ready, she left the bathroom to join the others. They were currently taking part in karaoke, Julien and Josette struggling through the chorus of "Red Wine Supernova", laughing as they had trouble with the high parts. Katie couldn't help but let her eyes drift over to Phoebe, who was helping Lucy find $20 to split some change for future gas station stops. Lucy told her a joke, and Phoebe's beautiful face scrunched up into a laugh.

The venue was packed and the crowd screamed as MUNA took the stage. A few songs in, Katie tried to focus on the music, her voice blending with Naomi's and Josette's to create their signature harmonies, but her thoughts kept drifting back to Phoebe. The chemistry between them was just growing more and more. The boys were done getting ready, so they watched the show from the sides of the stage. Bo, who was there today, pulled Phoebe in for a quick, gentle kiss. Katie saw this out of the corner of her eye, and she felt a pang of jealousy. She ignored that feeling, continuing the song.

The night progressed, and it was time for the finale, "Silk Chiffon". Katie sang the first verse and the chorus, and then Phoebe appeared, her silhouette outlined by the stage lights. She sang her verse with a haunting beauty that Katie tried to ignore. The chorus arrived again, Katie and Phoebe engaging in their usual flirty, sensual dancing as they sang "Life's so fun, life's so fun, got my miniskirt and my rollerblades on", eyes locked on each other. The crowd went wild as Julien and Lucy joined the stage for the end of the song. Everyone lined up across the stage, held hands, and bowed together before exiting the stage.

Backstage was a whirlwind of congratulations and hugs. Everyone headed to "the party room" to have dinner and drinks. The atmosphere was light, filled with laughter and the sound of clinking glasses. Phoebe knew it was time to pull Bo aside.

"Hey," she started, her voice a mix of nerves and determination. "Shit, this is really ackward, but can we talk?" 

Bo looked up, raising an eyebrow in surprise. "Everything okay?"Phoebe took a deep breath and led him out of the room.
