I REALLY want to thank OtherCharacterNut for being an amazing writer friend and editor for this story! Anyways, here is the next chapter and please be patient with me for the future chapters.

I do not own anything except my OCs.

3RD POV

Amber was having a much harder time hiding how much she was truly freaking out. She had called Brie five times with no answer, so something must be wrong. Something must have happened. While Amber's mom continued to buy snacks at the concession stand and her little brother begged for more cotton candy, Amber called Brie again and just like all the other times, she got her voicemail.

"Hi, it's Brie. I'm not here right now. I'm most likely in either rehearsal or hanging out with THE Jeremy Jordan. Leave a message and I will call you back."

Amber rubbed her forehead as the fear and frustration took over. Where was her best friend? After hearing the beep, Amber left her message.

"Hey Brie, this is my sixth time calling you. The acrobat show started 5 minutes ago, and you're still not here. I bought some deep fried Oreos for us to share. Please call me back before your dad thinks you're missing again."

Amber hung up and took a deep breath. She remembered the last time it felt like this, when Brie was gone... was an actual missing person. Then Brie came back and told her about being in a world where Phantom of the Opera was real. Amber hated to admit it, but she first thought Brie had suffered a concussion. However, after some time, Amber started to believe Brie because that's what best friends did. Besides, Brie would never lie to her, especially about something so impossible, so maybe it was true. Amber couldn't help but also be a little jealous that Brie could have been in her favorite musical world. I mean, if it really could happen, how lucky could you get?

On top of all that, Amber realized that after the incident, Brie seeming to have changed. Sure, Brie continued to be in theatre and Amber was so excited when Brie was cast Cady in the production of Mean Girls. Not to mention Amber was cast as Regina George, so the best friends starred in a production together for the first time.

However, Brie barely hung out with their theatre friends, and she would rewatch both the musical and movie production of the Phantom of the Opera every weekend. Brie was isolating herself from reality. Amber tried to support her, but there was only so much she could do.

Suddenly, Amber's thoughts were interrupted when her mom placed her hand on her shoulder.

"Mom, you scared the shi..." Amber paused what she was going to say when she saw her mom's disapproving look. "You scared me."

Ryan giggled as he stuffed his face with cotton candy. "Amber's in trouble."

"Shut up, you little troll," Amber hissed at her brother.

"Well at least I don't look like a troll!"

"THAT IS IT, YOU LITTLE MONSTER!" Amber snarled and moved to attack her bother. Ryan screamed and hid behind their mom.

"Alright, that's enough!" Amber and Ryan stopped their bickering and stared at her. "Ryan, go sit with your dad and finish your cotton candy." Ryan stuck his tongue out before running back to where the others were watching the show. Amber's mom sighed before turning back to her daughter. "Ok, what's wrong?"

"Nothing. I'm just worried about Brie. I mean, we're going to college together and plan to audition for Broadway shows, but I feel like she's been distant with me and life ever since her accident," Amber confessed.

Amber's mom placed the snacks on a nearby table and hugged her daughter. "Sweetie, you know the accident was a traumatic experience for Brieanna. She may still be dealing with it on her own, or this may be her normal. You just need to have patience and support her like you have been, and hope that you can be a part of her new normal."

"I know, but it's been two years Mom," said Amber. "I feel like I haven't made any progress in helping her. I just want my best friend back."

"I know sweetie, but these things take time and maybe you will like this new Brieanna. If it's the old friend or the new one, she is still your best friend."

Amber sighed, and she knew her mom was right. 'I just wish I could be there for her and let her know I'll always be her friend,' Amber thought to herself.

Out of the corner of her eye, Amber saw something so impossible that her heart stopped beating. There, just across the way, staring at her through the crowd walking around him, was a man wearing a half white mask. He raised his hand to beacon her to come. As a family walked in front of the man, he disappeared. Was that... No, that was her imagination... Right?

Amber released her mom and said quickly, "I need to go to the bathroom. Those fried Oreos are upsetting my stomach."

She ran in the direction of where the mysterious man was as her mom called out, "Ok, but find Brie before the show ends!"

Amber ran and ran, trying to find him. Where the hell was he? She spun around to see a familiar white mask, and then a man with a black hat and cape. Her eyes darted to the carousel to see a man dressed like the Phantom walking by as the horses spun to the music.

"Hey, wait!" She cried out as she ran after him.

She tried to keep up, but every time she would bump into someone, or another person would walk in front of her, the phantom would disappear. Running out of breath, Amber stopped and heaved in as much air as she could. In fact, if she didn't slow her breathing, she would probably start to hurl.

"That's it, I'm running cardio when I get back to the hotel," said Amber. Just when she was about to give up, she saw what was in front of her and stood up. "The Hall of Mirrors?" Amber shook her head and snickered, "Great hiding spot phantom guy. Wait... This is where Brie said she was at when she talked to me on the phone!"

Amber closed her eyes for a moment to catch her breath one more time. When she opened them back up, there standing in front of the Hall of Mirrors was the Phantom. Amber's mouth dropped open in shock as he stared back at her before entering the attraction.

"Oh, hell no, I need to talk to you mister!"

Without even thinking, she ran right into the Hall of Mirrors, cutting in line.

"Hey, we were here first!" screamed a customer.

"Sorry, this is an emergency! LIFE OR DEATH!" Amber screamed back. Amber ran through the halls, trying to keep up with the man who she knew had something to do with Brie being missing. Again! "Hey Phantom! I just want to talk to you! What did you do with Brie?"

Finally, Amber was in a circular room with mirrors completely surrounding her. She looked at her reflections and almost let out a scream. Staring back at her, in every shining reflection, was herself dressed in her ballet costume... as Meg!

"Ok, that's it. I'm gonna freak out if this magic stuff doesn't stop," Amber said.

As she turned to leave the room, a huge mirror blocked her exit. She tried to find a way out, to move through the mirrors, but none of them moved. There was no escape. Amber frantically looked into the mirrors, looking for a secret contraption or button to open the door, but there was nothing. She was trapped!

"Hey, whoever thinks this is a funny prank, it's not! LET ME OUT! I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR ME, PHANTOM!"

Amber was so frustrated that she kicked in the mirror. Pain shot from her foot all the way up her leg and she winced, hopping on her good leg. Maybe kicking the mirror was not the best idea. As she nursed her foot, she suddenly heard a haunting voice calling out to her.

"Friend of my angel of music, you must come with me."

Amber started to shake in fear but said in a strong voice, "Listen buddy, I don't know what sick game you're playing with me, but I won't ask again. Where is my best friend?!"

The voice chuckled before the lights in the room completely turned off. Now Amber was in full terror mode. She wanted her dad! Heck, she would even take the guy who screamed at her in line! Anyone who could help her, but she was all alone.

"I am her angel of music. Come join my angel of music. I am her angel of music. Come join my angel of music."

Amber stumbled in shock as the mirrors instantly started to spin around her. Amber felt nauseous and covered her mouth so she wouldn't barf as they spun faster and faster. Her eyes were losing focus before Amber finally tripped and fainted into darkness.

Before she lost consciousness, Amber heard the haunting voice call out to her softly, "I am her angel of music. Come join my angel of music."

AAAAHHHHHHH IS AMBER GOING INTO THE PHANTOM WORLD!?! WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? AGAIN, I AM SOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY FOR THE REALLY LONG WAIT. I WILL TRY MY HARDEST TO POST THE NEXT CHAPTER. HOWEVER, I BEG OF YOU TO PLEASE HAVE PATIENCE WITH ME.

UNTIL NEXT TIME....
