Shortly after confronting lord x In a fight for vengeance from his race and as the fighting progressed by some miracle and "plot armor" he transformed into a demonic version of himself well he calls it "devil's blood" while using this form the fight tipped in his favor... hours after the fight he went back to green hill to morn over the death of tails and the others but oddly enough... they were brought back... tails later explained that lord x himself set them free as a reward for sparring him Gavin the war dragon was confused at that statement but he understood that it had made since in a way... so on that day forward he would train to master his new found form.
