The Boys Next Door

Adventure Time with Jac and Dan

"Knock knock." Dan says knocking on Jacqui and Sophia's apartment door.

"Hey!" Jacqui says with glee opening the door. She was wearing a faded denim jacket, Green Day t-shirt, black skinny jeans, and gray high tops that matched her gray beanie. Her hair was in soft waves, the purple and red streaks illuminated her brown hair that matches her brown eyes. "Come on in!"

Sophia sat on the couch in her Pj's with a bowl of cereal and her laptop. "Hey." She says with her mouth full of frosted flakes. "Is Phil coming over later or soon?" She asks swallowing the huge bite of food.

"After a while." Dan says leaning on the arm of the chair by the couch. Dan was wearing his galaxy jumper, his regular skinny jeans, and white high tops. Today is Jacqui and Dan's fun day (Thus the reason I'm telling you what they're wearing).

"You look amazing!" Dan says planting a small kiss on Jacqui's cheek.

"Thanks, you do to. Did Phil hide the straighteners?" Jacqui asks kissing his cheek.

"I thought something was different." Sophia says standing up to put her bowl in the sink.

"He didn't hide them, I just couldn't be bothered to deal with them this morning." Dan says standing up and sitting beside Jacqui in the other chair. "I think I might leave it au naturale for a few days."

"I'm actually shocked! You're the last person I'd expect to NOT straighten your hair." Jacqui says surprised.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. "PHIL!" Sophia says running to the door to open it.

"Woah. Hey! Someone's excited today!" He says stepping through the door and hugging her. "Dan, you're going natural? I'm impressed."

"Why is that a problem to be myself, maybe I'm trying to learn to love it. Leave me be." Dan sasses to Phil.

"See, now I have to compete to be the princess of sass. Because, obviously, Gerard Way is the queen, and Dan is just so dang sassy! Oo! You can be my lady in waiting!" Sophia says sitting down on the couch with Phil.

"Wow. Thanks Sophia." Dan says sarcastically to Sophia.

"You're welcome." Sophia responses without hesitation.

"So, are you ready to go then?" Dan says looking over to Jacqui.

"Yep, in a bit." She says standing up, "I'll be right back." Jacqui proceeded to walk down the hall. She came back with a small bag. "Ok. Now I'm ready!" She says heading to the door. Dan jumped up and closed the door behind them.

"I figured we'll start with food, as none of us had breakfast yet." Dan says pressing the button to the lift.

"Agreed. I'm pretty hungry." Jacqui says looking at Dan.

*Ding* The lift opens and Dan allows Jacqui to step in first. "Thank you." She says walking in.

"You're Welcome." Dan says walking in behind her. "After food I think we'll go to the tower of London, and of course, the London Eye and then a very special place I'm sure you'll love." He says smiling at Jacqui as they linked their arms.

"That sounds wonderful!" Jacqui says looking up at Dan. "Thank you!" She says as they left the lift and building hand in hand.

"No need to thank me, but you're welcome anyway." Dan says smiling.

~At the restaurant~

"So, you and Sophia. How long have you been friends?" Dan asks sitting down at the table.

"Since 8th grade. We actually had our first sleepover the second week of school." Jacqui says taking off her jacket that revealed her Green Day t-shirt.
