Sunoo's pov:

"You've been acting kinda strange." I finally let it out on my best friend, who's been zoning out this entire time while I was busy yapping to him about a girl flexing her gross nails.

"No I'm not." Jake simply stated before sipping on his drink.

His eyes wandered behind me once again, making me grow more annoyed than I already was.
"What's so interesting behind me?" I squinted my eyes at him, before finally turning around.

Ohhh... so this is going on?

There, sat Eunhee and her friend on the table just behind ours, laughing and working together.

I knew it.
He is crushing on her.
That's why he recommended her to the teacher as the new secretary of the student council.

"You like her don't you?" I inquired, with a smirk on my face, catching Jake off guard as he started to choke on his drink.

"My best friend is in love?" I teased.

"It's not like that." He defended.

"It is like that." I emphasised the 'is' because I have never seen him staring at someone, particularly staring at a girl like this before.

And this has been going on for a month now.

I always noticed how Jake would often go to the rooftop these past few weeks which made me curious because my best friend never really did that. It was strange of him to always excuse himself to go to the rooftop.
We would rather hang out with Niki instead.

So, out of curiosity, I ended up following him to the rooftop one day.

Flashback

"I hate my life!!!!!" Eunhee yelled on top of her lungs making Sunoo surprised as soon as he quietly opened up the rooftop door.
He couldn't help but be curious.

What was Eunhee doing here when Jake had excused himself to come here just a while ago?

And just when things couldn't get more obvious, Sunoo found his closest friend leaning against a wall, just behind the many boxes which blocked him from Eunhee's sight.

Jake held a sketchbook in his hands, in which he seemed to be sketching something as his eyes were fixed on Eunhee from a distance. The girl didn't seem to have a clue.

So this is what's going on? Sunoo put the pieces together and couldn't help but get excited over his best friend's secret little crush.
He wanted him to reveal it himself.

Except he never really confessed that he had been liking Eunhee for a while now.

Flashback end

"I know you like her." I uttered. Jake's expressions went completely serious as a smirk made it's way onto my face.

Jake started fidgeting with his fingers as Sunoo could feel his friend being conscious of his gaze.

"How'd you know?" Jake finally inquired after being silent for a while.
He knew that there was no escaping this since Sunoo already seemed to be way too interested.

"I caught you staring at her on the rooftop once." I folded my arms over my chest.
"Why don't you plan to confess? I bet it'll work if you execute it properly." I suggested which made his eyebrows quirk up and I let out a grin, as the guy in front of me couldn't help but be curious about what I was about to say next.
