"No one is going to believe me." I said, looking down from the rooftop.

Should I jump?

I don't think anyone will be affected by my death.

I took a huge breath, the air hitting my Open hair.
I took one more step closer to the edge.

Would I be able to meet Mother and Heesung on the other side?

I am a coward.
I have tried to kill myself many times.

But I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Maybe this time I'll succeed.

"Have you gone mad!?" I was pulled down with a strong tug on my arm.

I came back to my senses.

Was I about to jump off?

"Eunhee! I'm talking to you!" Jake exclaimed, with a sense of agony in his voice.

"Have you gone insane?" He shook my shoulders hard and I couldn't help but break into tears.

"Shhh shhh it'll be alright. I don't know what happened. But you scared me there Eunhee. I don't want to loose you." He said, as he comforted me by running a hand through my hair gently and patting my back.

"I- I-" I couldn't hold back my tears.

My chest was churning and everything seemed to be in a haze.

"I'll listen to you. Tell me what's troubling you." He said, staring deep into my eyes. Our eyes drowned into each other's ocean like orbs.

"I'll tell you." It blurred out of my mouth. I'm tired of keeping things only to myself.

I'll be trusting you with a piece of my heart.
I just hope you won't abandon it.

After Eunhee had finished explaining and telling everything about her past, she and Jake now sat on the rooftop, with their feet dangling from the edge.
It still scared Eunhee, what if she had jumped?
What if Jake had not saved her?

"It's not your fault." He started.

"Hmm?" The confused girl turned To Look at him.

"I said it's not your fault. You couldn't save them could you?"

"Would your brother want you to be like this?" He asked and Eunhee didn't utter anything For a while.

"Life isn't the same for everyone Eunhee. It makes you stand in a hole with a shovel. It's your choice whether you want to dig it deeper or get out of it by trying your hardest. If your mother watches you drowning into the depths of sadness.... Do you think she'll be peaceful?" He inquired, making the Girl press her lips into a thin line.

"I can be there for you. Consider me a friend." He remarked.

"Whenever you are stuck, I'll pull you out of your sadness." He looked at the Girl, a beat skipping his Heart.

"Thank you.. Jake. I am trying to get better too. I don't mind having you as my friend." She claimed.

Eunhee wanted to step out of her walls that she had enclosed herself in. It was not hard to get out of the trauma and the horrible past of hers.
But trying Never hurts Right?

But a thought still troubled her.

She had never shared anything this deep with Minji. She felt as if she was betraying her.

"You should not believe that you will never find someone who believes you or loves you. There will be someone who's gonna love you unconditionally." Jake remarked, earning a grin from Eunhee, who was over thinking.

"You think so?"

"Mhm. I'll be the happiest person that day, when you'll find someone, whom you start believing blindly." He muttered, which was enough for her to Hear.

Only if you noticed my eyes following you everywhere, maybe you would've found him sooner.

"By the way..... What's your favourite colour?" He asked.

"It's white. Yours?"

"Cherry pink or maybe warm brown."

"That's actually detailed." Eunhee chuckled. She couldn't believe how bland her answer actually was.

"It is." He whispered under his breath, not audible to her at all.

-

"So there is a trip? How do we plan it?" Eunhee asked Jake, as they both made their way downstairs.

"I don't know. Let's just plan it out sometime you know. We need Sunoo's opinion too." Jake said acknowledging her question.

"I would love to go hiking. The stars must look pretty ." Eunhee stated out of nowhere.

Jake just grinned and nodded in return. The school was almost over. They hadn't realised that most of their time was spent on the rooftop. Talking and sharing some of their worries.

"Where is Minji?" Jake asked her, making her grow a little confused.

"Oh yeah... well, we don't really talk too much nowadays. She's busy." Eunhee Said, earning a simple nod from the guy walking beside her.

"Eunhee?" Jake started, making Eunhee face him.

"What does a Girl.. according to you Likes?" He rubbed his nape.

"Do you like someone?" The girl passed him a cheeky Look.

Eunhee found herself getting comfortable with Jake.
She quirked and eyebrow at him, forcing him to answer her question.

"Maybe... yeah I do. But I don't know how to confess." Jake stated.

It's you.

"I think.... Well, I haven't had a romantic experience yet. But... maybe confess to her in a romantic place? Maybe under a starry night? When you both are alone?" She recommended, making him nod his head vigorously.

"Would she like it?"

"You asked according to me. If it was me, I'd love it." Eunhee remarked, feeling satisfied with her answer.

"Ohh reminds me! I have to go home early today. I'll see you some other time Mr, Prez. For now, I'll take my leave." Eunhee laughed, making Jake bite in a smile.

"Byeee~" She waved, disappearing into the hallways soon after.

"Oh boy, You're head over heels." Sunoo claimed, appearing out of nowhere.

"Shut up." Jake said, hiding his face which was getting redder and redder.

I'll love you and believe you Lee Eunhee.
