Vampire Note: TVD and SPN have vampires (obviously) but both are very different, such as their origin. For the sake of story and plot points, there will be two types of vampire. One that comes from Alpha and Eve, and the other that comes from Esther's spell. As such, the SPN vampires don't think of the TVD vampires as real vampires.
.........
At the Salvage Yard two days after the phone call, Diana sets the bag of groceries on the counter before she shrugs off the strap of her bag so it falls to the floor next to her feet with a thud. She stretches her arms over her head before she turns to look at the fridge. She crouches as she opens it up, then tilts her head and rolls her eyes fondly. She was right to pick up groceries because Bobby has absolutely nothing in it other than beer and cheese. He's not that far off from having a heart attack. Her nose twitches slightly before the grocery bag behind her lifts and hovers towards her, allowing her to snatch it out of the air with her hand to unpack and put it away. She has enough to fill it, to keep Bobby fed for at least a week. She hums a little as she scrunches up the paper bag and throws it into the trash. She then helps herself to a beer. She pushes herself to her feet, opening the beer before she sighs sensing something behind her. A figure lingering in the doorway aiming a gun at her. Someone she knows is not Bobby.
"That better be loaded with bubbles" She warns without turning around. The figure behind her glances at his gun in hand, aimed towards her and then snorts.
"No, it's bullets. Who are you?" She lets out a breath through her nose and then sets her beer down before she turns to face him.
"Diana" She answers. "Stark" She leans onto the counter and tilts her head. "You must be one of those Winchester boys my uncle is so fond of" She comments and he blinks surprised. Not by her knowing who he is, but by the fact she's called Bobby her uncle. She is aware that he's tried to keep her hidden from the hunting world and very few of his hunter friends, if any at all, know that she exists. For good reason. Hunters view the world so black and white that they'll hear that she's half vampire and instantly reach for the stake, completely ignoring that she's also half human.
"Bobby is your uncle?" He asks, gun lowering only slightly. She hums and nods. He frowns and then shakes his head. Disbelieving that he would keep something like that from him. He raises the gun again and she lets out an annoyed breath through her nose.
"Whoa" Bobby quickly steps between Dean and Diana as he enters the room, likely in search of his own drink. He keeps his back to his niece, defending her. "Dean...this is my niece," Bobby introduces. "Diana..."
"You never said you had a niece" Dean grumbles as he lowers his gun, believing it since it is coming from Bobby himself. "Or a sibling" He adds and Bobby sighs a little, knowing that it is going to have to come out now. Now that Diana is here. Now that he has dragged her into this. He knew he needed her help but he had hoped that she would arrive after the brothers' left.
"A sister," Bobby admits. "I had a sister..." Bobby motions to Diana. "Diana's mother" Dean hums a little and glances at Diana who waves her fingers at him, looking rather smug. Diana then turns to Bobby.
"I got you groceries" She tells him and then hands him the open beer. "I'm going to bed, wake me in a few hours" He hums in thanks and watches as she grabs her bag and then leaves the kitchen, heading downstairs to the basement where she knows Bobby sets up a camp bed for her. It's through choice. She prefers to be in the basement because her fridge is down there, because it is quieter than the rest of the house. Darker too. It is easier on her enhanced senses. Bobby did everything he could to make it so. Metal and padded walls and ceiling. He's been very accommodating in recent years. Now he knows more about the supernatural world, now he understands it, and therefore her, better. He's been far more accepting of her than his hunter brethren will be. Despite being half human, they will only see the side of her that is half monster.
.....
In the basement, Diana has a cot, a fridge, a dresser, and a room divider. It's all she needs for a short stay. Though she has no idea how long this stay is going to be. She has no idea how long this research is going to take. If she ends up being here longer then she might have to reevaluate her situation. She sets the bag onto the cot and lets out a breath as she sits next to it, her hands touching her knees. She's not really all that tired but sitting down here is better than dealing with that Winchester boy upstairs. Bobby is her family, she's heard so much about Sam and Dean Winchester, she thought their introductions would go better. But it is understandable considering they had no idea that she even existed. Perhaps Sam will be more inclined not to aim a gun at her when they meet. Pushing up from the cot she crosses to the fridge. She opens up the smaller fridge and tilts her head. Blood bags. Not a lot because her main diet is not human. The blood bags are usually for an emergency. If she is wounded or there is a particularly difficult hunt. She's lucky that there is a state park close enough here that she can go to to find deer, rabbits, and squirrels. It's not perfect, but it works for her. To keep her from becoming the monster she knows she could be. She closes the fridge door and lets out a breath, pushing down a slight rise in her bloodlust. Thankfully, she is distracted by her phone pinging with the arrival of a text message, at 1 in the morning. She pulls the phone from her bag to open up the message. Finding it from Pepper. Diana smiles softly at the worry clearly coming through the text. Tony could live a hundred lifetimes and never deserve having Pepper in his life. Diana replies to her, reassuring her that she's fine, just taking a short break from her own search to help Bobby with his instead. She'll get back to hers in time.
