Today was a boring day. I was just sitting on my couch watching TV. My parents were at work and school was out for fall break.

I got up to go make a sandwich; getting the bread out of the pantry. I was just about to get the cheese out of the fridge, when I hear my phone ping.

And ping again.

And again and again.

I went over to check my phone. I was still getting notifications on it from TikTok and insta. Including three, now four, messages from Leah.

I checked my messages from Leah first.

I clicked on the link and it was a video of walker in an interview. I did as she said and went to about four minutes in and started watching the video.

"So walker, what is it like working on the set with the cast?" Asked a lady with dark hair and a blue blouse.

"It is great! Everyone is great and everyone is different. It is an amazing honor to work with all of them," said Walker.

"You said everyone is different, what are your favorite qualities about each of them?"

"Well aryan is like a brother to me to be honest. And Leah is like a sister to me, they are both great friends."

"And the rest of the cast?"

"I am not as close to them as I am Leah and aryan and YN, but they are still great friends of all mine."

"What about YN?" They woman continued, "you never spoke about her."

"She is... she is something else. I mean she is amazing. She is such an amazing actress. And she is incredibly kind. One time we were out and she saw a homeless man so she bought him a meal from Waffle House and gave him twenty dollars. Also she is beautiful, and I just love the way she laughs," Walker finished.

"It sounds like it would be safe to say you have a crush on her?" She questioned.

"Yeah, I think it would."

"So YN YLN is your celebrity crush?"

"Just my crush in general, yes"

"Ok then"

I turned off the interview. And just stared at the wall.

"He likes me?!"

I picked my phone back up to see I had been tagged in post on instagram and tagged on edits of me and Walker.

One edit of me and Walker, with I wanna be yours by Arctic monkeys as the music, said "I need this to happen!!"

I looked through the comments and it was a lot of people saying how good we would be and that "YN Scobell" sounds perfect.

YN Scobell, not perfect but not too bad.

I have had a little crush on Walker for a while, but now that I now I actually have a really chance; I think I may shoot my shot.

So I decided I would text Walker.

It was already five in the afternoon. My parents would not be home for another few hours. Plus they do not care if I have friends over.
Even if the friend is a boy.
That I like.
And that happens to like me too.

Knock knock knock

I go to open the door and let Walker in.

"Hey," he says to me.

"Hi"

"So you saw it?"

"Yep, Leah sent it to me to watch"

"Oh"

We were sitting on the couch in the living room in silence. I did not know what to say and I guess he did not either.

"I meant every word I said" he mumbled out so I could barely hear him, but I did.

"Well, I really like you you to," I spoke, "I think you are very kind and beautiful yourself"

"Really?" He said finally looking up from where he was messing with the hem of his shirt.

"Yes, I have for a while"

"Do you want to go out sometime? Like on a date or something?"

"Yes of course!"

That was three months ago and now me and Walker have started dating, he even asked me to be his girlfriend, and I could not be happier.
