Leora made her way to the old drawing room on the third floor, it used to be where her family spent Sunday's, but since her mother's death it had been untouched. She gently pushed on the door, finding it unlocked. The servants never really felt comfortable locking doors, even at night, as her grandmother was paranoid about being trapped. In fact, one might have even said it was more than a paranoia, it may have even been obsessive at times. So, Leora never had much trouble sneaking around the manor at night; in fact, it was often her favourite pastime. The girl glanced around the dark drawing room to see it was just how she remembered it last left. Most of the furniture had been covered by large sheets of white fabric to keep the dust away. It was empty, large and dark. The windows had been curtained up tightly, so the only light was her candle. With bated breath, she gently closed the door behind her, leaving herself trapped in the room. A room where she had no fond memories, for it was the room where her mother and father had died. Shot to death, to be precise. But to contact the underworld? This room was probably the best in the house. Pushing down the unsettling feeling building up in her body, she made her way to the oddly shaped furniture under the cover and tugged off the pale veil. It was a table. She set the candle holder down, the flame flickering a little with her nervous breath, as she went to sit on the covered thing that must have been a chair. Or if it was not, it would do for now.

She set down the book she had stolen from the library, along with the one she had stolen from Lady Gwendolyn. She searched for the page on Kong Hun Jui, leaving it open and lingering slightly on the words. She then went to the other book, searching for the page on summoning a ghost. Séance, though this was slightly different. She didn't just want to communicate, no, she wanted him to appear in the flesh. Based on the book, she was hesitant. If he was truly a sinister spirit, was this smart? What if it was a different ghost? Well, it was too late now. The only way to know was to find out and hope that it would work out for her. She set the flickering candle in the centre of the table, wrapping her arms around it in a circle; meeting her hands and gently clasping them. It would have been a much easier séance, had someone else been there, but Leora couldn't have anyone else figuring out about this.
"I am reaching out to Kong Hun Jui..." Leora murmured, aloud; furrowing her eyebrows in thought.
Was that too informal?
"I am reaching out to the general, Kong Hun Jui?"
She shook her head with a frown. She really wasn't good with séances, that was for sure.
"Dear Kong Hun Jui, beloved spirit, please move among me and speak through me. We welcome you with open minds and hearts."
Leora waited in silence, for something, for anything. Yet all there was, was a deadly still silence. She waited a little longer, but as the minute stretched she found herself more and more disappointed. It was as she suspected, it was a load of rubbish.
