Saira was in a good mood, carefully selecting clothes one by one.

Just then, Zuri walked in, and Saira eagerly called out, "Zuri, come over here. These clothes were all sent by Dad. If you like any, feel free to take them."

Saira's generous words were like knives to the heart.

The brand managers present couldn't help but notice Zuri, their eyes showing admiration.

This was the true heiress of the Lin family, and she was truly beautiful, more graceful and attractive than any other heiress.

At that moment, Secretary Li came downstairs and saw Zuri, "Second Miss, these clothes were specifically instructed by Chairman Lin to be for you. If you don't like them, you can have them exchanged."

The brand managers were dumbfounded.

It seemed they had made a mistake.

Saira instinctively asked, "Secretary Li, weren't these clothes prepared for me?"

Secretary Li smiled but spoke coldly, "It appears the First Miss misunderstood. These clothes were all prepared for the Second Miss."

Saira stood there, dumbfounded.

The brand managers smiled awkwardly, and the only one who remained calm was Zuri.

Zuri walked up to Saira, "If you like any of them, feel free to take them. No need to be polite."

The same words, the same tone, were like sharp knives stabbing into Saira's heart.

Saira was so ashamed and furious that she bit her lower lip to hold back her tears, "No need."

With that, she turned and left.

Mrs. Lin, Dalia, glared at Zuri with dissatisfaction, "How can you speak to your sister like that? You're too much."

Saying this, Dalia chased after Saira upstairs.

Zuri watched Mrs. Lin leave with a cold smile on her lips.

When Saira said those words just now, why didn't she say she was being too much?

That's her good mother for you!

The brand managers, realizing their mistake, quickly tried to make amends.

"Second Miss, what do you think of these clothes? If you don't like them, we can have them exchanged immediately."

Zuri's gaze swept over the rows of luxurious and exquisite clothes, "These will do. Send them all upstairs."

The managers were both shocked and delighted.

Now this was a true heiress, waving her hand and taking them all.

That day, Saira was so angry she didn't come down for dinner, but it didn't attract Aaron's attention. In Aaron's eyes and heart, he only saw Zuri, for one reason. That day, he had received confirmation through special channels that the land would be reclaimed for transportation development.

With this confirmed, Aaron started making things difficult for Sergio under the pretext of Hector troubling his daughter.

Now, not only was Zuri not going to apologize, but Aaron also wanted Hector to apologize to her, which infuriated Sergio.

Sergio hung up the phone with a grim expression.

"How did it go? What did the Lin family say?" asked Mrs. Hu.

Seeing her son's miserable state made Mrs. Hu want to tear Zuri, that little wild child, apart.

"I really underestimated Aaron. I used to think he was an old-fashioned man who favored boys over girls, but now I see I was wrong. He's extremely protective of his own daughter, to the point of breaking off relations with me. He even wants to use divestment to threaten me, which is ridiculous," Sergio sneered.

"Aaron is crazy, risking business for a little girl," Mrs. Hu was shocked.

"If he wants to divest, let him. I doubt he can afford the penalty fees."

He truly didn't believe that Aaron would be willing to pay billions in penalty fees for a little girl. No one would do that unless they were foolish.

The Hu family wasn't easy to deal with. Aaron wanting to divest was met with significant obstacles, mainly because he didn't want to pay such a large sum, not even a penny.

In the past couple of days, Aaron had been anxious and angry over this matter.

Someone knocked on the study door, and Zuri entered, carrying a pot of chrysanthemum tea.

"Have some chrysanthemum tea to cool down. Are you worried about the penalty fees, Father?" Zuri asked bluntly.

Aaron's impatience faded at her words, his eyes brightening as he walked over to sit opposite her.

"Do you have a good solution, Zuri?"

Instead of answering directly, Zuri slowly told a story, "I heard an interesting story from Leo. It's about two companies that set up a textile factory together in the last century. One company discovered that their partner was cutting corners and using inferior materials, violating their initial agreement. They proposed to dissolve the partnership. The partner refused, so the company took the evidence to court. Afraid of the trouble and damage to their reputation, the partner not only agreed to dissolve the partnership but also paid a large sum in compensation."

The story was simple, but its message was clear.

Aaron laughed, his worries dissipating.

"Hahaha, great story."

"Drink more chrysanthemum tea to cool down. It's late, I should get some rest," Zuri stood up.

"Alright, get some good rest."

Aaron watched her leave with a warm smile.

When the study door closed, a sinister smile curved on Zuri's lips.

Humming a tune, she walked lightly back to her room.

Suddenly, she stopped and turned her head, her cold and dark gaze locking onto a head poking out from around a corner.

Saira had been stunned by her eerie smile. Now, meeting her eyes, those eyes that seemed to come from the depths of hell, Saira trembled all over.

Zuri smiled slightly, a chilling smile, her cold eyes looking at Saira as if she were a 'dying person.'

Saira felt a chill run down her spine, a deep-seated fear rising within her.

"Ah!"

She screamed, turned, and ran back to her room.

After closing the door, her heart pounded wildly.

Zuri is a demon.

She must be a demon!

Zuri withdrew her gaze, her lips curling into a cold smile as she walked lightly back to her room.

Inside, she took a bottle from the bottom drawer. The bottle contained several long, thin objects resembling animal tails.

Some tails were already shriveled, while others were still semi-dry. Zuri took a bloody tail from a nearby box and placed it in the container.

Watching the additional tail in the container, a beautiful, faint smile spread across her lips.

Almost there.

Once the bottle was filled with tails, the Lin family would experience the pain she had endured, feeling the sensation of being gnawed by rats.

What's the next game?

Oh, right.

Her birthday was coming up soon. In her previous life, it was a grand birthday party, the day the Lin family officially introduced her to high society.

She still remembered how Saira had humiliated her that day, making her a laughingstock in high society.

"A birthday, how exciting!" Her eerie voice echoed in the empty room.
