[Coach Barry Career in American football]

Call hangs up!

Let me quickly dress up and meet these boys outside the doorway. But before that, I have to let Mom and Dad know I am out for training. I put on my black shirt and black tracksuit. Wow, I was looking nice in the black color.

I dressed some minutes late and got my black bag. I always use it to train and run down strips.

Hey Mom and Dad.

Hey son, your dad is asleep. So be quiet and live here now. Said Mom.

"Aww", sorry. I said it immediately.

Hey, keep going and make sure you will come back home on time and don't stay for long. Said Mom.

I gently walk slowly and bend my whole body down, walking like a hungry little rat. I took my steps one by one till I reached outside and closed the door gently just like I had never done that.

[Door latch unlocked]

Bye son. Said Mom.

TJ and Walker drove in just some minutes. I waited outside. That was just in front of me.

[Car accelerates]

Hey, boys. What kept you guys so long? Like I have been waiting for days now. I think your dad will never let you talk his car out, so what happened bro,

Yeah, that's my dad. Sometimes, he is dreamy.

Boys Laughing!

Hey, come in, we are running late, and we have to go now, Lefah. Said TJ

[Car door unlocks]

[Car accelerates]

[Lefah's voice] Okay, as for me, I don't know how to drive, and Mom and Dad never want me to try that. Daddy once said he would teach me how to drive, but I don't know why he never mentioned it and I have been waiting for him years now. I think Mom and Dad are afraid of taking such a risk for their only son. Yeah, Dad keeps saying that anytime I talk about it. They think the last eye to see me driving will never see me again. All because I am the only son. Mommy's boy.

Hey Lefah, come on, why are you so quiet? Said Walker

Oh, that's nothing, guys. Am okay.

A message alert sounded

[Hey, handsome. Are you home alone?]

That was Pikfred Water. And I can't chat or talk to him now. So, I didn't reply to him.

We were in the car at the same time enjoying the song boys love. Guess the music. Yeah, Walker was the one who pulled up the new sound in town.

We are always singing. That's what boys really like.

[ Boys singing]

We are going to an old town football pitch for our football training. It is more than three years since we joined the team. Some minutes late, we were late on an old town pitch. But here we are. Walker packs the car immediately when we get there.

"Hey, guys", said Garriso.

"Garriso is our football team captain". Wow, we are so fortunate to have him with us, because we are late and once Garriso is with us, I don't think our coach will get angry about us being late for training.

[Car door opens]

"Hey, Garriso". Said TJ.

"We all walked in with our team captain, Garriso."

" Hey, Mr. Barry Sanders" Said Garriso from far away.

"Hey, my boys. You should run fast here before you are late. Hey boys, run, run." said Mr. Barry Sanders, shouting from afar.

" We are sorry, Barry Sanders, and this won't happen again, Mr. Won. Said Garriso.

"Yeah, I know, and you better not let it happen, boys. Said Mr. Barry Sanders.

Mr. Barry Sanders is our football team manager. Yeah, we normally call him Coach Barry. Coach Barry never plays with his time when it is time for training. Anytime we go for training, he will just wish us good luck in training and talk to us a lot. His last words were" If you like, just do whatever you want and see Mr. Barry Sanders' bad face".

We can use our whole day to train, and it happens more, especially when there are a few days left for us to play a big game with another team. Coach Barry is the best manager of our time, and I am not saying this because I am in his team, but he is.

Now, I think it is time to train boys. Said Mr. Barry Sanders.

[Boys running off to the football pitch after Mr. Barry talks]

"Hey, hey, hey, my boys. Come around, training is over". Mr. Barry.

After every evening training, Mr. Barry will ask us to run to our dressing room and spend another hour and talk to us before we leave our dressing room for home. He always motivates us and tells us more about his American football career in the United States.

[Coach Barry's voice] I played for the Detroit Lions in 1989-98. Just like I said. I did a lot for my team and myself as a player. I was the most valuable player in 1997, two-time NFL Offensive player of the year.

In 1989-98, I was the NFL Offensive Rookie of the year, a 10-time NFL All-Pro [1989-98], and a 10-time Pro Bowl. PFWA All-Rookie Team [ 1989] and that was for my team and also the NFL Anniversary All-Time Team.

"Yeah, and I was also an NFL All-Pro and made the Pro Bowl for all the 10 seasons I played for my team, the Detroit Lions in the 90s."

"I was the only player to end my football career without a championship and you boys have made me proud of being champions in all the games. Thank you, my boys. I was Return Specialist, but my coach made me the captain and changed my position to running back and that was temporary. If not retired, who guesses next".

[Man's voice] American football, simply known as football in the United States and Canada and also known as gridiron football, is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end.

The offense, the team with possession of the oval-shaped football, attempts to advance down the field by running with the ball or throwing it, while the defense, the team without possession of the ball, aims to stop the offense's advance and to take control of the ball for themselves.

The offense must advance at least ten yards on four downs or plays; if they fail, they turn over the football to the defense, but if they succeed, they are given a new set of four downs to continue the drive. Points are scored primarily by advancing the ball into the opposing team's end zone for a touchdown or kicking the ball through the opponent's goalposts for a field goal. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins the game.

"I'm still the greatest NFL player of all time, and thank you for making me, boys". Said Mr. Barry Sanders.

[Team voice] "Thank you, coach Barry, and we will always make you proud and never let you down".

" Yeah, that's a promised couch Barry". Said Walker de Promise Boy.
