Did you know that the word "Halloween" is the shortened form of "All Saints Evening"? Does not sound at all alike, right?
The word "Halloween" comes from the Scottish form of All Hallows' Eve (the evening before All Hallows' Day). "Even" is the Scots term for "eve" or "evening", and is contracted to e'en or een. (All) Hallow(s) E(v)en became Halloween. Want to try repeating it in a fast loop?

For all the cinephiles out here, we have some interesting movies to recommend for your Halloween night. No matter what genre you like, you should be able to find something to enjoy!
Do you like fun and heart-warming movies, that will keep you and your family/friends entertained? Then maybe you'll be up to watch Goosebumps, in which opening a book can call doom upon the world.
Or do you prefer movies that keep you on edge, and prevent you from sleeping? In this case, you should be content with Hereditary, where family secrets keep unraveling, and they can't escape it no matter what.
