It Begins

It was the day of the opening ceremony of the Celestial Tree Tournament. Rize was wearing a red shirt with black pants. He wore a black jacket with a DHO letter on the back in red. He stood there with Anna in the middle of Arena in New Gotham with the other people in the tournament. He looks around and sees John and Kacy. John was wearing a dark forest green shirt with black pants and shoes.

 "I guess this our competition," said Rize.

 "There are a lot of people here," said Anna.

 "I hope you don't have stage fright," said Rize.

 "Please, That would be more you since you are the one fighting," said Anna.

 "Hey, we are a team here," said Rize.

 They would then head to their locker rooms where Rize was getting ready for the opening rounds which he be facing a man from Marrow. Rize made sure his left arm was covered to keep everyone thinking he was not a demon. 

 "Alright, we just wait our turn," said Rize.

 "Ah, that is just lame," said Anna. She looked bored.

 "Hey, we just got to get to the finals," said Rize.

 They watched as Rize's family entered the locker room.

 "Yo," said Judas.

 "You guys came to wish me luck," said Rize.

 "Of course, we would," said Issac,

 "This is a big event, Rize. This whole tournament could decide your whole future," said Raze.

 "Well, I am more rooting for our boss," said Cyrus.

 "What, I kick his butt when we meet," said Rize.

 "Well, that could be a while the only way you two will meet is if you make it to the finals since he is in a different bracket," said Issac.

 "Well, I will meet him there," said Rize.

 "You already this confident. Damn, just make sure you don't get your ass kicked," said Judas.

 "I think I will manage," said Rize.

 "Good," said Raze.

 After a while, Rize would have his first match which would end in a quick win for Rize. This would be what would be like for him for the next couple of days until he was in the finals with with the final eight people in the tournament.

 Rize was walking through the halls of the arena with Anna and Lydia who came to see the tournament.

 "I guess, thanks for coming out," said Rize.

 "I was not able to see the first rounds, but I saw what little you had for today," said Lydia.

 "Just a bunch of chumps to be honest. I guess my only competition will be John," said Rize.

 "I would not say that there are seven other people in the tournament. I saw your next opponent is someone from Snowfall," said Lydia.

 "Snowfall, damn that's a rough place it mostly snows all year round," said Rize.

 They keep walking until they get to a corner where Lydia bumps into someone and makes her fall on her bottom.

 "Ow, I am sorry...," said Lydia before she saw the man who bumped into her.

 He was an average-sized man with silver wavy hair held up by a crown. He had light-colored almost white skin with yellow eyes which glared at Lydia. He wore what looked like a white fancy outfit. This young man is Lizius Snowfield, The Crown Prince of Snowfall, and is Rize's next opponent.

 "Watch where you're going commoner," said Lizius.

 Rize seemed very mad about that and walked up to Lizius.

 "Hey, watch where you going," said Rize.

 "I did not ask for your input...," said Lizius. He saw that it was the next opponent.

 "What? You should say you're sorry at least to a lady," said Rize.

 "So, you are Rize Alistair," said Lizius. "To be honest you do not seem anything of worth like the trash I dealt with now."

 "Why you," said Rize who seemed to be getting angry at Lizius.

 "I also see you are an Esper User," said Lizius. "I guess you would be entertaining."

 Lizius would then leave them.

 "Man, that guy is a jerk," said Rize.

 "Cool you're jets," said Lydia.

 Rize helps her up on the floor.

 "Who was that guy anyway?" asked Rize.

 "That was Lizius Snowfield, He is crowned prince of Snowfield," said a voice behind them.

 They look and see John and Cyrus walking up.

 "He is a prince?" questioned Rize.

 "Correct and he is the number one DHO Soldier in Snowfall and he too like us is an Esper User," said John.

 "He might be tougher than the goons you been facing Rize," said Cyrus.

 "I feel like it has been a while since we all been together," said Lydia.

 "Yeah, it kinda feels like a mini-class reunion," said Cyrus.

 "Sadly, I never graduated," said Rize.

 "Well, you had a good reason, even though you probably dropped out," said Cyrus.

 "Yeah, he would of," said Lydia.

 "No faith in me at all," said Rize.

 "Even I would agree to that," said Anna.

 They all laugh at that remark from Anna which even made Rize laugh.

 Rize would get back home with Cyrus since they both live together in the same apartment.

 "So, what's your plan for the prince?" asked Cyrus.

 "Simple one. Kick his ass," said Rize.

 "Well, you have an advantage over him, his Esper, Shiva Frostmore and she is a rapier type Esper with the power of ice," said Cyrus.

 "Even though she is an ice type, I bet he already figured out a way to deal with Anna's fire," said Rize.

 "Damn, you already figure that out, I guess you have a brain in there," said Cyrus.

 "I just have to just have to beat him," said Rize.
