Closing her eyes, Freen mentally reminded herself the only reason why she's in this situation now. She needs to be strong and uphold her promise to her mother.

After calming herself, she then proceeded to continue looking for a quiet place she can hangout.

Seeing a staircase with a do not entry sign hanging on the first step, Freen looked around to check her surroundings. Nodding her head, she knows that whatever the area after that door is the place she's been looking for.

Hurriedly climbing the stairs, she then carefully turned the knob and luckily it's not locked. Guess she's right, the said place is an abandoned roof top. She's sure she's alone and can be in peace in this place.

Setting up her lunch box, Freen eyed the bright sun putting a genuine smile on her face.

"Guess I have the right to say, get the fu—- away from me now!"

Freen jolted out of her seat then eyed the latter in horror.

" I was here first and don't look at me like that as if I'm an ugly ghost." The latter annoyingly muttered.

"What are you doing in here?" Freen ask.

"Are you deaf? I said I was here first. I should be the one asking you that. So? Either you get out of here or we can start again."

Freen tiredly buried her face against her palms then face the latter.

"Or you can take that side and I'll take this side so there's no need for us to be talking." Freen sarcastically suggested.

"Why are you always mad?"

"And why are you so annoying? Are rich people like you or it's just you?"

"Hmmm, now I get it. You hate rich people huh? Is that why your eyes were literally throwing daggers to Engfa earlier?"

"Shut the fu—-up—-"

"Look I don't want to have an enemy on my first day. I'm just being nice and don't care whatever you have with Engfa. Like I said, since we both are new in this school I thought it would be okay to be friends that's it."

Freen sigh tiredly, she is really tired right now like she can pass out any second.

"I didn't come here to make friend—-"

"Trust me I said that to myself multiple times now from bouncing school to school, but having someone is still better."

Freen eyed the other woman the flick her tongue loudly.

"I'm not like you or anyone in here. I guess that's a good reason for us not to be friends?"

"Sometimes people like you are the one looking down on yourselves then blame it to other people, particularly rich people. Because I never thought of your social status."

"Then what did you see in me then that you are eager to be my friend?" Freen curiously ask. The latter chuckle softly then sat beside Freen.

"Eager? I don't think that's the right word but whatever. Be like that then." With that said the latter left Freen alone.

Looking down on her rugged shoes, Freen pouted her lips then once again looked up in the sky. For her looking up in the sky gives her peace specially if she's at the beach.

"I just want to get this one done and be over with." She thought and started eating her lunch.

On the side of the campus, Becky has been eyeing the older woman. After the encounter with that rude older lady, Engfa has been really quiet. Looking at Charlotte's, Engfa's best friend, she scooted towards the latter.
