From Beyond The Ice Wall

II|The start of the unknown

After they left the bookshop they finally went back to their rental car and started to head back to the hotel after being in town for what felt like years and Nymeria decided to start reading her newly purchased book
"The history of Westeros a land unknown" she had read a few similar books but this seemed to be more in-depth, it spoke of a Young naive prince from the early years of the apparent targaryen dynasty who had found home in a brith settlement at that time known as natal, or now know as KZN,where they are now. She was about 50ish pages into the history book when her dad slammed on breaks causing the book to fly forward off her lap onto the floor.

Just before she was going to bend over to pick it up she looked out the front window to see a huge beast about a hundred feet infront of them. Her first thought was to run but she recognised the look of the beast from her history books but she ignored it as her father pulled her out the car as they all started running as this huge beast of a dragon was burning anything and everything in sight.

They made a good distance from the beast before they stopped to take a breath when Nymerias parents shared a somewhat knowing glance as the beast started ignoring everything around it and heading straight for them, crushing anything in its path.She looked over confused at her parents as they glanced at one another before they started running and she lost them in the crowds of people. Fearing for her life she ran into a secluded area she thought the beast wouldn't go.

Oh how wrong she was. She ran down the alley not realising it would lead to a dead end. She took her phone out her pocket quickly dialling her mothers number as she ran down the alley hoping she would pick up and luckily she did.

Nymerias POV

"Mom?! where are you guys, i lost you and dad in the crowd. I ran down some alley" I was out of breath, still on the phone with my mom as i reached a dead end.
"Mom its a dead end, im going to head back" i said turning around just to be met with the beast a few feet away from me."Mom, i love you ok? and dad. the dragon thing is right here" i said with pure terror streaming through my veins as i heard my moms voice through the phone

'it won't hurt you'

Still sort of short i guess but i don't want to rush the story line but ill try make the chapers longer!
