In the weeks that followed, Leonor and Alryana immersed themselves in preparations for their growing family. They decorated a nursery in the palace, filled with soft pastels and cherished items from both Spanish and Genovian cultures.

Alryana would often catch Leonor daydreaming as she arranged toys and books. “What are you thinking about?” she would ask.

“I can’t help but wonder what our children will be like,” Leonor replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement. “Will they have your creativity or my love for learning?”
