I walk in and dinner is sitting on the table in the kitchen. I sit at the table and my mom asks what I got at the mall and I show her and tries to give advice on what jewelry, makeup, etc. to wear. I just dig in and act like I am listening. I run back upstairs, wipe off my face, and start getting ready for bed. I lay in bed thinking about the conversation with Janelle earlier. What if there is a cute boy? What if I fall for him? What if I just try something new? What if... Danielle enough with the "what ifs."

I turn my t.v. on and turn on my favorite show, Glee. Halfway through the show, I start to doze off which is very rare for me since I'm usually up until 3am. Maybe it's all the stress I've had all day really has worn me down to just a body with no soul. I mean do I have a sound I don't even know if I'm interested in having a relationship right now. Gosh Danielle go back to sleep and stop brainstorming reasons why your tired.

I wake up around 8:15 and to the smell of peppered bacon being cooked in the kitchen. I jump out of bed and go brush my teeth. Once my mouth is feeling fresh, I go downstairs to have some bacon and eggs, the classic breakfast. Once I finish, I run upstairs and start getting ready for my big day at Six Flags Over Georgia. I throw one some Nike Pros on. Once I throw on a tank, I go into my bathroom, brush out my hair, and throw it up in a high ponytail. I found one of my headbands which is very hard to do since I lose them like a water loses minerals during filteration. I go get my sneakers and text Janelle.

"hey heading over now."

It was about 9 now and the park opened up at 10. My phone rang and I checked it. It was a response from Janelle.

"k, I will be waiting by the curb. can't wait to ride Goliath w/ you."

I get in my car and start driving over there. I stop in front of her house and Janelle hops in. We listen to the radio when our favorite song comes on, "Pocketful of Sunshine." Its an oldie but goodie. We jam out and start to pull into the amusement park. As soon as we get into the park, we run to the Mindbender rollercoaster. As the day goes on we realize we picked the perfect day to go, because it's overcast, but not raining, so not many people are here, which equals no long lines. When we get in line for Goliath, I start freaking out. I have a pretty bad fear of heights, and Goliath is the tallest of all rides at this amusement park.

"I heard you can see the whole city from the top of the hill."

"That's not helping me feel any better about this."

"Oh c'mon relax! It's not that high"

Before I know it we are at the loading platform. I get into my death seat and get locked in. We start going up the hill and I closed my eyes. Janelle catches me and smacks me, so I open them. Once I open them we are at the top of the hill, it's true you can see the city from the top.

WOAHHHH!!!!!

We rush down the hill and my heart drops. We go super fast around the turns and down the hills. I keep my eyes closed because I am so freaked out.

Once we get off, I don't want to admit it, but that ride was actually kinda fun. Janelle figures it out because I couldn't stop smiling.

"Wanna go again" She asks. I can tell she wants too again, and I wouldn't mind riding it with my eyes OPEN.

We get back in line and end up waiting for about an hour because this seems to be the most popular ride.

Once we get off the ride for a second time we walk over to the Superman which I think I will like the best since you ride this one on your stomach.

We walk over and get on almost as soon as we get over there. My stomach drops as I'm pushed up. Once it's over I feel a lot better. We get down and I feel much better. I didn't expect that this next moment would impact the next few years of, if not my whole, life.
