As they rushed toward the Gummi ship, the shadows of Noctera's power loomed over them. Her dark presence followed them like a storm cloud, relentless and ominous. Aqua, Ventus, Roxas, and Axel instinctively broke off from the group, turning to face her. They knew they had to buy time for the others, no matter the cost.

Aqua stood at the forefront, her Keyblade glowing faintly in the dim light. Her heart ached as she stared into Kairi's face, knowing that her student, her dear friend, was buried somewhere inside that dark shell. "Kairi!" she called out desperately, hoping against hope that she could reach her. "Please, I know you're still in there! Fight her! Don't let Noctera take you!"

For a brief moment, there was a flicker in Kairi's expression—a hesitation. But then Noctera's twisted smirk returned, her eyes glowing with malevolent purple light. She raised her Keyblade, ready to strike. Aqua's heart sank, but she refused to give up.

"Kairi, remember who you are! We all believe in you!" Aqua continued, her voice pleading as she blocked another strike. "You're stronger than this!"

Ventus and Roxas attacked from the sides, their Keyblades clashing against Noctera's with a flurry of sparks. Axel unleashed waves of fire, trying to keep the pressure on. But despite their best efforts, Noctera was relentless. Her control over Kairi's body was absolute.

And then, as if to mock them, Noctera began to laugh—a cold, hollow sound that sent chills down their spines. "You think she can hear you?" Noctera taunted, her voice dripping with disdain. "She's mine now. There's no saving her."

Aqua faltered for a moment, her heart twisting in despair. But she couldn't give up. She wouldn't. Summoning all her strength, she lunged at Noctera, her Keyblade striking with fierce determination. "Kairi, I won't lose you!"

The clash of their blades was fierce, but Noctera was too strong. With a brutal swing, she knocked Aqua back. Aqua's helmet cracked under the force of the blow, and she staggered, blood trickling down her temple. A single tear slipped from her eye as she tried to keep fighting, her heart breaking with every strike. She had trained Kairi, guided her—and now, she was losing her.

"Kairi... please..." Aqua whispered, her voice barely audible as her strength waned.

But Noctera had no mercy. She swung her Keyblade again, sending Aqua flying backward with such force that her body crashed into the ground. Aqua tried to rise, her limbs trembling, but she was too weak. Noctera was too powerful.

Aqua lay on the ground, gasping for breath, her vision blurred. She could see the others still fighting, still trying to hold off Noctera, but they were faltering too. Despair clawed at her heart. Was this truly the end?

Suddenly, Sora appeared at the edge of the battlefield, his face a mix of desperation and determination. His eyes locked onto Kairi—Noctera—and he rushed forward, his Keyblade gleaming with light. "Kairi!" he shouted, his voice cutting through the chaos. "I know you're in there! I know you can hear me!"

For the first time, Noctera hesitated. The dark glow in her eyes flickered, and for a split second, Kairi's true self seemed to surface. Her eyes softened, her lips trembled, and she whispered, "Sora..."

Seeing her struggling, Sora's heart swelled with hope. He took a step closer, reaching out his hand. "Kairi, please! Fight her! I know you're strong enough!"

Kairi's body shook, torn between Noctera's control and her own will. She clutched her head, her expression contorted with pain. "S-Sora... I..."

But before Sora could reach her, Noctera's influence surged back, taking over completely. With a scream of rage, she lashed out, sending Sora tumbling backward. "She belongs to me!" Noctera snarled, her voice filled with venom.
