Morning,

My eyes flew open as the alarm pierced the air, jolting me out of bed. I groggily reached for my phone, letting out a heavy sigh. Despite it being the weekend, I wanted to be prepared and ready for the challenges that Monday would bring. I rubbed my eyes, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep, and made my way to my suitcase.

I bent down to grab a fresh set of clothes – a black sports bra and a pair of spandexes – and headed to the shower. As I shed the clothes from the previous night, I couldn't help but think about the men I had met at the bar. "Roman seems like a nice guy, but Seth... he's definitely a flirt," I mused.

After a refreshing shower, I slipped into my new outfit and stepped into the living room of the hotel suite. I grabbed my key card and phone from the counter and headed out the door. As I exited, I collided with the copper-haired SHIELD member, Dean Ambrose, for the second time.

"Haven't I told you to watch where you're going?" he said gruffly, his tone laced with annoyance.

I shot him a withering glance, my voice low and even. "Haven't I told you to watch who the fuck you're talking to?" I retorted, my patience wearing thin. It was too early for this kind of confrontation.

With a dismissive sigh, I pushed past Dean and made my way to the elevator, leaving him and his attitude behind.

Gym,

As I entered the gym, I was greeted by an empty space, which suited me just fine. I slipped on my headphones and jumped onto the treadmill, letting the rhythmic pounding of my feet on the belt clear my mind. Twenty minutes of running later, I hopped off and made my way to my gym bag to wrap my hands with tape. With my hands secure, I headed to the punching bag in the back of the gym, ready to unleash my pent-up frustration from the previous day.

I lost myself in the rhythmic thud of my fists against the bag, oblivious to the fact that three people had entered the gym. It wasn't until I landed one final, powerful punch and slipped off my headphones that I noticed Roman, Seth, and Dean standing behind me, watching me with interest.

Roman spoke up, his voice laced with amusement, "Wow, what did that punching bag ever do to you?" I rolled my eyes, hitting the nearby bench to remove the tape from my hand. As I looked up, I caught the three men still staring at me, and I raised an eyebrow. "Do you need something, or are you just enjoying the view?" I asked, a sly smirk spreading across my face.

Seth, ever the charmer, replied, "A bit of both." Roman playfully smacked him on the chest before asking, "We were wondering if you'd like to partner with one of us for a tag team training session in the ring." I agreed, mostly because I needed the practice, and we headed towards the ring.

As we entered the ring, I turned to the three men and asked, "So, which one of you will have the pleasure of winning with me on your team?" Seth eagerly raised his hand, and I shot him a warning glance. "I'm not your princess, douche." Dean chimed in, his voice low, "She doesn't like being called princess. I had to learn the hard way."

With Seth as my partner, we faced off against Roman and Dean. I nodded to Seth, indicating that I wanted to start, and thankfully, he didn't protest. As Roman and I locked up, I could feel the tension between us. "Don't worry, I'll go easy on you," he said, but his words only fueled my anger. "You're the only person who needs to be worrying," I retorted, my eyes blazing with intensity.

The match was intense, with all four of us exchanging blows and showcasing our skills. When Seth tagged himself in, he clotheslined Roman, sending him crashing to the floor. The match continued, with Roman and Seth trading blows, until they both crawled towards their corners, exhausted. Roman tagged in Dean, and Seth tagged me in.

As I faced Dean, I narrowed my eyes, my focus laser sharp. I grabbed his arm, catching him off guard, and threw him into the ropes. I knelt down, using the momentum to throw him over my shoulder, and executed a perfect Samoan drop. As I got up, I saw Dean struggling to his feet, and I jumped up, wrapping my legs around his neck and whipping him to the floor near his corner.

Rolling out from under him, I saw Roman had tagged in, and I ran to my corner, my sights locked on him. I charged at him, full force, and speared him to the mat. Letting out a loud sigh, I saw Dean jump into the ring, but Seth grabbed him and threw him to the mat.

Not satisfied with just the spear, I grabbed Roman and set him up for the Ungodly hold. This time, it was successful, and Roman struggled for a minute before slamming his hand on the mat, submitting to the hold. As I released him, I staggered to my feet, raising my hand in victory alongside Seth.

Roman hopped up to his feet, a mixture of admiration and respect on his face. "That's a killer submission," he said, extending his hand. I shook it, a chuckle escaping my lips. "That's what you deserve for thinking I needed you to go easy on me."

As we exchanged pleasantries, I glanced at my phone and saw it was already 9 am. I had been at the gym for two hours. "I'm heading out. Thanks for another win to add to my book," I said, smirking, before walking out of the gym.

I headed back to my hotel room, where I hopped into the shower once again. As I finished changing, I checked my phone and saw a notification from someone I was close to.

AJ LEE : Hey, I saw you made your return and I'm in town we should meet up for dinner or maybe even shopping

Verena 🌹: I'm down to head to the mall, I'm free for anytime just let me know.

AJ LEE : I'll meet you at the southeast mall around 10:30 if your down.

As I checked the time, I saw that it was only 9:30, leaving me plenty of time to get ready for my meeting with AJ. I replied to her message, confirming that 10:30 was perfect and that I'd see her in about an hour.I got up from the bed and headed towards my suitcase, rummaging through it to find the perfect outfit. I pulled out a gray top and a pair of black skinny jeans, which I paired with a pair of black boots that complemented the ensemble perfectly. Once I had my outfit settled, I reached into my purse and retrieved a small red box that held a treasured possession – a copper-colored necklace in the shape of a key.A pang of sadness washed over me as I gazed at the necklace, but I pushed the emotions aside and put it on. I then grabbed the clothes I had chosen and began to change out of the basketball shorts and oversized tee shirt I had worn after my shower. Once I was fully dressed, I headed into the bathroom to style my hair and apply some lip gloss. As I emerged from the bathroom, I glanced at my phone and saw that it was already 10:00. Knowing it would take about 15 minutes to reach the mall, I decided it was time to head out. I grabbed the keycard I had tossed on the counter when I entered the hotel room and made my way to the parking lot.I approached my car, unlocked it, and slid into the driver's seat. With a sense of purpose, I started the engine and began my journey to the mall, eager to meet up with AJ and catch up on some much-needed conversation.
