"It's so boring here, dude," Sarah exclaimed moving her blonde hair from her face looking at me with her sleepy eyes. "Can't relate more," I said with the same expression as her.
Well Mrs Ellis class was always boring.
"It is still 11:30," i said with a annoyed tone. "I can't take it anymore."
Sarah slammed her head into the table and said, "It feels like a decade," she said with the same annoyed tone from earlier.
I slammed my head at the table too.
Until we hear the bell rings.We both raise our head at the same time and said at the time, "finally."
"You both are so dramatic,"luke said laughing from the back. "So what?" We both said at the same time throwing daggers with our eyes as we both looked at her. "Chill, guys. Jeez," he said putting up his head.
"Let's leave this idiot here, Mehjabin."
"Sounds good."
"And, please correct your time in your phone."
"Will do, miss."
We were walking on our way back home and laughing on some ridiculous jokes. Yeah our humor was fully broken. Our hostel was really close from our university so we usually walk there and some time we take Sarah's car.
"Hand me your keys. I'm too lazy to grab my own from the bag," she said. I rolled my eyes."lazyass," I said putting hands in my pocket. "Here."
She took the keys and opened the door. As I stepped onto our room my phone rang. I opened my phone and saw Abir my brother had called.
I received the call and put the phone in my ear. "Hm. Bolo," I said. It is our usual greeting.
(Translation: Yes. Speak.)
"Busy?" He asked from the other side of the phone. "Nah. Actually just got home back from university," I said.
"Well, I had some words with you," he said with hesitating tone. "If it something useless you owe me 20 dollars," I said. "Deal," he said with a serious tone which made me laugh. I flop onto the bed and said, "stop making things dramatic and speak what you want to say," I said still laughing.
"Well you know, you are getting older...and you don't have a boyfriend yet-"
"I hope you'll transfer the 20 dollar," I said cutting him off. "And I'm declining the call. Bye."
Wait, wait, wait. Listen, na. You have to get married today or tomorrow and you know I have to take care of it," he went on. "But I don't want to. At least right now," I said in my defense. Of course I'm not getting married now at any cost.
"That's great," he said sounding happy.
"Great?" I asked. I am confused. What? Didn't he said he wanted me to get married. Yes, great. So you have to find a someone to married later," he said.
"Well yeah," I said still confused. "And I got a solution for it," he said excitedly.
"What did you do?" I practically yelled at him. "Well I'll set you with someone," he said happily. "No! Bhaiya what did you do?" I whined. "What? You said you are going to marry someone and we need to find that someone. So I'm helping you out," he said very proud of what he did.
(Translation: bhaiya means brother.)
"And how are you helping me?" I asked him. "By setting you up in a blind date," he said.
"What!" I yelled him on the phone.
Sarah came running to me from the bathroom. "What happened?" She exclaimed. I looked at her face she was putting a face mask. Her face half covered in face mask looked worried.
"Mehjabin, please. Go to the date," he said begging. "I'm not going anywhere. You can't just set a date for me. You didn't even asked," I exclaimed. "I know it's wrong that I didn't told you anything but you wouldn't agree. I'm sorry," he said. "It's so wrong. You know," I said. I was really angry at him. Blind dates can never work. I want to meet someone who was for me. Someone who were destinied to be with me. Not someone who I was set up with.
"Mehjabin, I'm not saying you need to marry him. Just meet him and if you don't like him It's okay too," he said. "But you should've said something," I said trying to keep myself calm. "I'm sorry," he said which I don't think he meant. "So, please meet him," he said.
"Okay but if I don't like him. Don't expect anything from me," I said in serious tone. "I promise. I won't," he said with a understanding voice.
"So, when is the date?" I asked.
"Tomorrow. I'll send you the address," he said. "Okay, then. Bye," I said before declining the call.
"So what is it?" Sarah asked me. She was standing there while I was talking to my brother Abir, trying to understand the situation. "My brother set up a blind date for me. Without even asking me," the words spit out of my mouth. She knew I was kind of disappointed. So she sat beside me and hold my hands and said,"You know he wants the best for you." I nod my gaze shift to my lap. I know he wanted to take care of it as my parents weren't here to take care of it. He always needed to take care of my everything. He always did. Combing my hair to share his candies with me. He did everything for me. He never made me feel alone. I always knew if I looked behind my back I will always see Abir's smiling face to tell me how proud he was of me. But my life will take turns when I will choose someone to be my life partner. It will be not the same and it's a very important decision so he should ask me about it before setting things.
"Come on, Mehjabin. It's alright," she said trying comfort me. She put her hand on my back. "Oh don't be sad," she said trying to hug me. "Oi go wash your face first," I said moving her away from me. "Oh shit. I forgot about my face mask," she said running to the bathroom. I laughed at her behavior. "Stop laughing. My skin is on life support, "she yelled from the bathroom.

I was watching myself in the mirror. Wearing a really gorgeous black dress. It was elegant yet comfortable. The bubble sleeves compliments the dress.
I looked at my reflection while straightening my hair. I don't really love my wavy hair so I usually blow dry or straight them. I did a really simple light make up to go with the outfit.
I was really nervous to meet that guy. I don't how I should describe it. My brother did say I can reject him but I don't know I feel nervous how will he react.
I was ready to go. Sarah lend me her car for today. She put the keys on the dressing table before going out with her freinds. I took my purse and check I'd everything was there I needed. Then, I took the keys and left the hostel. I saw her car and made mu way towards it.
I began to drive. As the ride made me closer to the restaurant I was getting more nervous.
I parked the car infront of the hotel. I started walking to the door. I swung the door open with a gentle push the cold air hit my face.
I saw none was there in hotel accept the employees. He maybe booked the restaurant. I entered the restaurant a waiter came to me and said, "this way, mam." I followed her and sat on my table. "Would like to order now? Or later?" He asked. "I'll order later," I told him. "Okay, mam." He said and left me there all alone.
I was more nervous as the clock kept tackling. After some time has passed I heard some one swung the door open.
My date was here. I kept stepping my foot. He didn't said anything and sat infront of me. I shift my gaze at him.
I was not ready meet those brown eyes again. I shockingly exclaimed,
"You."
"You."

How was the chapter? I know I'm not that descriptive which I'm trying to change. I'm really busy with school and all. Also my exams are going to start soon. If you are student of new curriculum you know what I'm going through🙂. It's effing tough for us. And today is also lee knows birthday. Happy birthday, lee know. Our next victim to bully by seungmin.
