"Kuch yun mili tumse nazar ki,
baki sab nazar andaaz ho gaye..."

It was early morning with as usual weather and stirred up sky. Birds leaving their safe places in the search of food for themselves and their family. Wild animals out of their hunt. Every morning comes with the new incidents and opportunities but Inaayat is always an exception. With every new day there is nothing new happens with her.

She has to do the same chores daily straight after waking up in the morning, she has to bear the humiliation and pain of living in the haveli, she has to do other's work too with her own work and at last at the end of the day she has to bear the brutal torment of Abhinendra, her to be fiance. She has no safe place to hide and all of her life she have to live in the haveli only.

She woke up in the early morning and as usual no one was awake in the haveli. She did her morning routine hastily and took a bath. After changing into her clothes which were old and torn from several places, she draped her dupatta (scarf) around her, covering her small and petite upper body with the cloth and left for her work.

She picked up duster, broom and mop from the store room and started dusting the main hall first. After dusting, cleaning and mopping she went to the living room and cleaned it also. Due to her weak and malnutrition body she started to sweat still didn't stop the work. After that she went to kitchen and cleaned it too with the hallways and balcony.

By that time the elders of the haveli starter waking up but were still in their rooms doing their morning routine. Inaayat started to clean the rooms of family members starting with Dadi's room. Dadi was bathing with a maid helping her due to her being old and weak. Then she went clean Thakur and Thakurain's master bedroom.

She knocked and the door got opened by the Thakurain herself. The shower was running that meant Ranvijay was in the shower. Thakurain opened the door wide for Inaayat and she entered inside with her scared and small steps. Without raising her head for even a second she started dusting and cleaning the room. She could feel Thakurain's heated gaze at the back of her head but didn't have courage to look at her.

With her trembling hands she cleaned the room as soon as possible. She picked the bucket and broom to leave the room but Thakurain's voice stopped her dead in her tracks.

"Sun ladki!" Thakurain called her and she stood frozen at her place.
(Translation: Listen girl!)

"Arjun ka kamra saaf karne ke baad uske dost ka bhi kamra saaf kar diyo." Thakurain ordered her earning a hesitant nod from her. She was about to leave but Thakurain again called her.
(Translation: After cleaning Arjun's room clean his friend's room too.)

"Ruk!" she said and started walking towards her bed.
(Translation: Stop!)

Taking out a notepad from the table of her bed side she opened the cap of a pen and started scribbling something on the blank paper. Inaayat didn't turn around to look what she was doing so Thakurain walked towards her. She tore that paper which had two sentences written on it and extended it towards Inaayat.

"Ye uske dost ko de diyo agar wo kuch bhi sawal kare tujhse to." Thakurain said to her.
(Translation: Give it to his friend if he asks you any question.)

She slowly extended her trembling hand and took the piece of paper from her hands giving her a slight nod.

"Kuch saman gayab karne ki koshish bhi ki uske kamre se to anjaam to tu janti hi hai. Bohot ameer hai wo aur uske paas bohot hi mehengi aur keemti cheezein hongi to apne gande haaton se unhe choone ki koshish bhi mat kariyo." Thakurain mocked her with a slight smirk.
(Translation: If you even try to disappear anything from his room, you already know the consequences of it. He is very rich and must have a lot of expensive and valuable things, so don't even try to touch them with your filthy hands.)
