Best Of Friends

Chapter 4

Roxanne had been on the road with Sam for three weeks. They were having a blast together. They hung out together every night. She was glad she took Sam up on his offer. It was really helping her cope with things.

Sam and Nick were driving back from an autograph signing. Nick was driving. Sam was texting with Roxanne.

"Talking to Rocki?" Nick asked.

"Yeah." "We're just finalizing our plans for tonight."

"Why are you guys so afraid?"

"Of what?"

"The connection you two have."

"Of course we have a connection but not a romantic one."

"Everyone can see it dude."

"Well then everyone's wrong."

Later that night after the show Roxanne and Sam were in her room. After watching a movie they'd both fallen asleep on the couch.. sam woke up in the middle of the night. Roxanne was snuggled up to him. He grabbed a blanket from the back of the couch, laid them both down with her on top of him and covered them both up. She woke up a little.

"It's alright." He said. "Go back to sleep."

"Goodnight Sam."

"Goodnight Rocki."

The next morning Sam was awakened by Roxanne throwing up in the bathroom. The door was closed. He got up and knocked on the door.

"Are you ok Rox?" He asked.

Roxanne hadn't shown up to the arena the arena that night. Sam was concerned so he went to her room. He knocked on the door. When she answered he could tell she'd been crying.

"What's wrong?" He asked going inside.

"Come here." They went into the bathroom. On the sink were four positive pregnancy tests.

"Oh Rox." Sam said realizing the severity of the situation

"Sam, what am I gonna do?" She hugged him. "I can't raise a baby alone." "I don't think I can go through with an abortion either."

"We're gonna figure this out Rocki." "It's ok."
