It was five days later. Roxanne was out in the hall talking to Sam on the phone.
"I still can't believe any of this." Roxanne said frustrated. "This is all I need right now."
"I know." Sam said. "I would sue them for wrongful termination."
"I can't." "They've done nothing illegal." "I only have two more days to decide."
"You know I'll help you if you decide to quit."
"I know." "I've been there since I was nineteen." "Those bastards."
"Try not to focus on that too much." "Focus on Whitney." "Tell her I said hi."
"I will."
About a half hour later the doctor came in to check on Whitney. After she did she went over to Roxanne.
"Everything's going fine." The doctor said. "Tomorrow you can finally hold her for a few minutes."
"Really?" She said happily. "That's great."
The next day just as Austin arrived, the nurse was putting Whitney in Roxanne's arms while she sat in the rocking chair.
"I made it." Austin said smiling. He knelt down in front of them. "Peanut is free."
"This feels so great." "Roxanne said happily.
"I think I have a solution to your problem." "You can quit your job and not have to worry about anything." Roxanne was paying so much attention to Whitney, she didn't see Austin take something out of her pocket. "Rocki, look." She looked up and saw him holding a ring box.
"Austin." She said surprised.
"I love you and I love Whitney." "Will you marry me?"
