Omniscient -The Wedding Day :

Marco paced nervously. It was 8am and the wedding starts at 11am. As the minutes passed he grew more and more antsy. He couldn't help but wonder how many things can go wrong. With all the growing tensions that lay beneath the surface, he didn't know if it was possible for everything to go right for one day.

Melissa walked in with breakfast for the men. She knew her son would be up this early. Just like Angel is up early. Both having nervous breakdowns.

Marco was too busy mumbling his vows to himself repeatedly, praying to not forget them. He didn't notice his mother walk in.

"Marco" he paused to the voice of his mother. He rushed to her side.

"Mommy how's Angel? She's okay? She still wants to marry me? Is Her dress perfect? They made errors with it at first that I hope got fixed. I know she's going to look amazing regardless. Do you think s-" he rambled not giving her a chance to speak before she cut him off.

"Marco— breathe" he inhaled deeply and exhaled.

"Angel is fine. You remind me of your father right now" she joked making him chuckle lightly.

"Your father was the same exact way on our wedding day. Running around like a chicken with it's head chopped off. The barber should be pulling up. These men need to all wake up and I need you to breathe. It will all be okay. And I brought breakfast" she held up the 3 large bags full of IHOP to go plates.

"Im too nervous to eat. Everything will come up" he joked but he was half serious.

Kane walked into the living room. He was up majority of the night trying to get in touch with Dream. No success of course. That walk down the aisle they had to do together will be really awkward if they don't speak soon.

"Ma dukes. Good morning" he greeted Melissa taking the breakfast out her hands and sitting it on the coffee table that sat in the middle of the spacious living room.

"Thank you" she breathed out relieved that the weight of the food was no longer in her hands.

Marco zoned out trying to play out how the day will go. He couldn't put his focus on anything or anyone else but Angel and the wedding.

"Kane, I told Marco the barber should be pulling up any minute now but he's halfway gone. We have to get these guys up and eating." Kane nodded going to wake the rest of the guys up.

"Marco I have to go back to Angel. I will see you at the venue. Uncle Pete will make sure yall leave on time. I love you and make sure you eat"

Marco nodded while wiping his sweaty hands on his pajama pants. "Can you tell Angel I love her?"

Melissa laughed lightly and gave him a kiss on the forehead. "Of course"

She went to leave out the door and came face to face with her ex husband. They haven't seen each other in person in a while, on purpose.

"Melissa. Still beautiful as ever huh?" His voice still felt like home to her. They've been apart for about a year now so she's still getting past that heartbreak. Unfortunately the love was still there.

She cleared her throat attempting to stand tall under his gaze. "Malcom. Make sure you behave. It's a big day for our son. Please, put away detective James and bring out Father Malcom. Excuse me"

She walked past him and out the door to her car. Malcom stood amused watching her walk off and climb into her car. He'd be lying if he said he didn't miss his Ex wife. She was his first love and little does she know, she still is his only love.
