Gabriel's POV

Me and Jason are waiting at a restaurant, That man, Black, is coming to talk about that 'deal' of his.

When I see him coming, I don't stand up, he sits in front of me.

His two bodyguards stay at the door and another man, I'm guessing his secretary is behind him.

"So...what's the deal you talked about?"

He smirked

"You know... I get what I want, I'm sure this time won't differ."

Hmm... It's true, he gets what he wants, either by killing, or steal.

Money? He already has...
Companies? That too...
Guns? Hm... He has already... Im sure it's not that... Then what is it that I have and he wants it?

" go on.. "

He leaned back on his chair, crossed his legs and spoke.

"i need a wife for my son, Marcus. You see, he is 21 and will take over my mafia. He needs a wife and I already know who will be"

My eyes narrow

Right, his son is of age. Needs a wife? Who?

"That girl's name... What was it?"
He asks the man behind him

He smirked

My eyes darkened

"isabella already has a man she will marry. You should find another"

It's true, he has trained men and is ready to fight.

I stand up

"I dont accept your deal. And if you even touch a hair of isabella's, you won't see the light of day again. Mark my word"

I walk out of the restaurant, Jason behind me.

When we enter the car I immediately call my sister Lexie.

"Hey lex"

"Hey big bro"

"i need a favor from you"

"You already know I'm in"

I smirk, lexie has good fighting skills, better than mine even.

"you already know Isabella, I talked about her to you right?"

"mhm, mom always asks when we will meet her"

"i want you to be with her all the time, the Black's are after her, he wants her for his son to be his wife. We don't want that do we?"

"they are messing with the wrong people ~"

I chuckle softly

"so, you want me to be a 'bodyguard'?"

"Yes, kinda"

"you want to meet up? I need details"

"Can you come to the company?"

"I'll see you there"

"Alright"

Isabella's POV

I couldn't sleep at all... I feel like someone is watching me 24/7.

Even at school I couldn't doze off for a minute with everyone talking.

As I'm walking out of school I get a message

"good day isabella"

Gabriel...

I smile as I respond

"hi Gabriel, how are you doing?"

"I'm doing well, you?"

"you could say that"

"are you done with school yet?"

"i just did. Is something wrong?"

"i want you to meet someone, can you spare some time?"

"I'm free today, I dont have homework either"

"that's perfect. Send me your location, I'll send Jason to pick you up"

"sure"

Meet someone? Who?

I send him my location and wait.

I look around from time to time.
That feeling...the feeling that a pair of eyes is watching you isn't leaving.

Sir Jason drove us to sit Gabriel's company.

"it's huge..."

"is it? Maybe we are used to the height so to us it's not that big..." Jason replied

We enter the company.

People inside, the workers I suppose are looking at me.

Probably wondering why a student is here and with the CEO's secretary.

We enter the elevator and wait.

" who am i meeting? If you Dont mind me asking "

"oh, you will meet someone you will spend a lot of time with. And Gabriel will explain to you the details"

Spend time with? I don't understand...

I follow Jason towards a door, we enter an office and I see Gabriel sitting on a couch, a woman beside him.

Is it her that I'm meeting?

Jason tell me to take a seat and I sit on the other couch in front of them.

"are you feeling alright isabella?"
Gabriel asked me

"I'm alright"

"you seem a bit tired..."

"maybe from school... I'll rest at home later"

I don't Want him to worry... I don't want to tell him I haven't slept for 2 days and I can't sleep because I feel like someone is watching me.

"let me introduce you... This is lexie, Lexie Roberts, my younger sister"

I mean I see the resemblance but...

"it's nice to meet you, I'm isabella, isabella Thompson"

"brother, your girlfriend is pretty"

"i know right? We have 2 years difference but we look like twins"

I smiled her way of talking is sweet.

I turn to Gabriel

Both Jason's and lexie's expressions turned serious like Gabriel's.
