Isabella's POV
Lexie drove me home and told me to go inside alone.
I told her to come in so she can stay since my parents texted me, telling me they have to go on a business trip for a few days.
But she said she will look outside a bit around, just to make sure.
I prepared two cups of tea and placed them on the living room table.
I looked at my book shelfs and found a few books to lexies liking.
When I walked downstairs she entered my house.
"outside is clear as a morning sky~"
"i got you a few books, might help pass the time"
"ooo~, you've got many"
"i read from Time to time"
We both sat on the couch and just read silently our books
Lexie would stand up and look around here and there. Maybe walk outside for a bit.
She told me I can go to my room and sleep but I'm not sure if I'll sleep with the thought of someone being.... There...
Gabriel called earlier and we chatted for a bit, he went to sleep for a few hours and said that Jason will 'change shifts' with Lexie so she can rest too.
I'm thankful but I think I'm more comfortable with Lexie since she is a girl but...
What can I talk about with Jason...
About ellie?
It's... Private... Probably, right?
Gabriel talked with the school principal and said that I'll have to go on a trip somewhere for personal reasons so I won't go to school for a while.
I'm not sure how the principal agreed but... I won't think about it.
Jason came around 6 am to let Lexie leave.
I offered him coffee and he agreed kindly.
We talked for a bit... Awkwardly but... We did.
He likes playing chess with Gabriel when they are free.
He said he could teach me when he comes tommorow
I agreed, maybe we can get to know each other more and be more comfortable.
Lexie said that when she comes back in a few hours we can go outside,
Since it would be weird if someone saw me with Jason, they might think we are a couple and it will be more awkward.
Gabriel came to my house around 8am and gave us breakfast.
Pancakes with a side box of ice cream.
He stayed for an hour and left to go to his company.

It's been 2 days since Lexie and Jason come at my house.
Mom and dad called to make sure I'm okay, they said they are really busy and it might take longer to come back home.
Me and Lexie hang out a lot and we got closer.
Jason and I, we aren't awkward that much.
Ellie came yesterday when Jason was here and they talked a lot.
Jason was all smiley and happy it was like the awkwardness was never there.
It's now 9pm and Lexie came, she also brought some food.
"jason, is the car outside yours?" Lexie said
"which one?"
"the red one by the tree"
"no, it's similar to mine but I came with Gabriel's car, black one, mine is at the mechanic"
"it's been there since yesterday but... I don't think any neighbor has a red car"
I say skeptically
"none? Are you sure?" Lexie said
I nod my head,
"mhm"
Both Lexie and Jason look at each other
"isabella, stay inside, we'll go look around, that car is a little... Suspicious"
Jason said
I nod my head
"okay, be careful. I'll be upstairs, I'll change my clothes"
Lexie and Jason left and closed the door while I walked upstairs to my room
I open my closet and look at my clothes for something comfy to wear.
I heard a small sound from the hallway and look at my door
"Lexie?"
...
Was it my imagination...?
I take a hoodie and some pants and place them on my bed.
I go to my bed stand where I have my hair tie.
When I picked my hair tie someone places a hand on my mouth and something stiff on my back.
A gun?
"don't make a sound" a Male voice said from behind me
I nod my head slowly
"walk to the window, don't think about doing anything"
I slowly walk to the window beside my bed
Another man in black is right by the window, they are together...?
He opens the window and the other man moves closer to get me out the window.
I kick the man behind me on his knee and he backs up a little
I close the window fast and turn around to run to the door
Before I could grab the Door handle something stiff hit me on the back of my head and my vision went black.

Lexie's POV
We didn't find anything suspicious, Jason left and I enter the house
"isabella?"
No response... Is she wearing headphones?
She isn't downstairs...
I walk upstairs and look around.
I knock on her bedroom door but there's no response
I open the door slowly and look inside
"isabella?"
I walk inside,
*splash*
Huh,
I look down on my feet and see a red stain
Tell me it's paint...
I brush my fingers on the stain and smell it
Not paint smell... Blood...
I look around the room, nothing is broken... The window is open... They came through it.
I look out the window
the red car is gone, It was theirs, they saw us walking out and they took their chances.
I take my phone out of my pocket and call Gabriel
