Reader's POV
You dragged your pencil along the floor of your holding cell. [Day 17 of your captivation and, already, my cell is almost full.] You looked around the small, grey walled, room you were in. The walls and floor were covered with numerous drawings. Mostly just sketches. But on the wall parallel to the door was a beautiful mural of a scenic landscape. Trees and fields covered the wall behind you. You gazed up at its monochromatic structure, wonder flowing through your mind. You looked back at the drawing you were working on currently, a small rose rested underneath your HB pencil. You had been so bored, to the extent that you would sleep long hours and spend the other hours, that you were awake, working on filling the walls of the room. You didn't know why Agent Bishop captured you, but it probably had something to do with the 4 mutant turtles you met before he knocked you out and threw you in the back of his car. [They mentioned something about DNA extractions?] You thought as you tried to wrack your brain about why they trapped you in this tiny, uncomfortable, room. But alas, you could not come to a conclusion. You'd never been a strong thinker after all. You shook your head and decided to just go back to your drawing. [If I think too much my brain might explode.] You rolled your eyes sarcastically.
You sighed and twirled the pencil in your hand several times, gazing around the room again. You'd memorized every inch of those shiny metal walls. The cold floor and the dark ceiling, that barely gave you any light from the tiny lamp hanging above you. You stopped twirling your pencil when you heard loud crashing and banging outside the cell. You got up and walked to the door, putting your hands on the edges of the small window. You narrowed your eyes, to see clearer through the foggy glass, and saw, what looked like, a giant crocodile standing on 2 legs. Well, he wasn't really standing. He was slamming through the security guards that were a few feet away from your little jail. He was coming towards you and it looked like he was about to bust down the door. You backed up and crouched down in the corner of the room, so you could dash by him when the door opened. With a loud -BANG- he crashed through the door, smashing it to smithereens. He emerged from the rubble with a cloud of dirt and smoke behind him. He stepped closer and you shrank further into the corner, unable to move. [I have to go before he kills me! WHY CAN'T I MOVE?!] Your whole body was shaking as he approached you. You knew he saved you but you still had the feeling he was going to eat you or something like that. "Are... You okay?" He said through severed breaths caused by panting. You struggled to unfreeze your self enough to point a weak smile his direction. "Y-yeah." You stuttered. You felt your heart beat increase as he, lightly, smiled back and held out his hand. You reached out your hand slightly, but you couldn't complete the action. You were too scared. He must've sensed this, because, he dropped his smile and pulled his hand back. This cut you out of your shock and you looked up at him. He was looking away from you but it felt like he was staring straight into your soul. -I know, cheesy line. :P- You quickly got to your feet. "So... Are we just gonna stand here?" He smiled and looked down at you, taking your hand and leading you out of your tiny prison.
When you were a safe distance from the building, You began to relax. As well as the crocodile guy. [Safe at last.] You looked up at him as he started to speak. "Are you sure you're alright?" You stared at him in confusion. "You look a little pale is all..." He trailed off his sentence. You stopped staring at him. [I shouldn't look at him like that, he probably doesn't like it.] You could feel his discomfort. You talked and tried to lessen the awkwardness. "So... Uh, my names (Y/N), w-what's yours?" You stuttered, still a little nervous. "I'm LeatherHead. I like your name (Y/N)." He said shyly. "Thanks, I like your too." "Thank you. A friend gave it to me." He explained. After you introduced yourselves, you got more comfortable and started talking about other things, like favorite foods and TV shows. In the middle of your friendly chat, you saw a shadowy figure in the corner of your eye. "What was that?" You said as you heard something behind you. You turned around and saw the same shadowy figure, coming at you. "Get behind me (Y/N)." LeatherHead whispered as he put his arm in front of you, pulling you behind him.
You must've gotten knocked out, because the last thing you remembered was a giant hand swinging at your face. You regained conciseness and slowly opened your eyes, blinking profusely at the abrupt change in lighting. As your eyes adjusted to the light, you saw LeatherHead a few feet away from you, head in hands. It sounded like he was... Crying? You, slowly, tried to sit up but, as you did, you felt a sharp pain shoot through your left arm. You howled in agony. Suddenly, the crocodile jumped up and ran to your aid, kneeling beside you. As the sharp jabs decreased, you looked up into his pink, puffy, still wet with tears, eyes. "What's wrong?" He asked with a worried expression, not able to look at you. "I should ask the same of you." You raised an eyebrow at him. He looked away as an intense look of pain crawled onto his face. Not of physical pain though, more like mental. You let go of your arm and took his hands in yours. "You can tell me." You reassured him. He looked into your eyes for a brief moment, then back at the ground. "Please forgive me." "For what?" You leaned your head in, curious. His eyes left the floor and scanned up your arm. "I'm so sorry." He said in a low voice, looking back at the ground again. You let go of his hands and got up from your spot on the couch, going over to the mirror on the wall. Your eyes widened as you saw your left arm, bandages soaked in blood, wrapped around it. You winced as you lightly touched the edges of the fabric. Even the slightest touch hurt. [D-did he do this?!] You looked at him in shock. He turned and started to walk away, but you wouldn't let him. You grabbed his arm and pulled him back, smiling up at him, (Despite all the pain.). His eyes widened, surprised, and he turned back you to, indicating he wouldn't leave. "LeatherHead, it's not that bad. I know you didn't mean to." You paused. "You didn't mean to... Right?" You took a small step back. "O-of course not! I... I just... I just loose my temper sometimes." He took a step towards you, moving his hands up your arms, stopping at the bandages. This made you blush. It also made you wince at the touch of his large, scaly, hands below your wound, but he didn't seem to notice. He moved one hand up your good arm, to your neck. He moved his fingers through your hair, stroking the back of his hand against your neck. He was looking at your lips. You knew what he wanted. His eyes were white and cloudy, as if he weren't thinking. He stopped playing with your hair as he slowly leaned his head in. You closed your eyes and waited for impact, but it didn't come. You opened on eye. He'd stopped inches from your face. You put your hand on the back of his head, pulling him into a kiss. You closed your eyes as his rough mouth cascaded with yours. After a few seconds, he jerked backwards, as if he was pulled back into reality. You felt him let go of your hands and you leaned your head back into its normal position, opening your eyes. "I-I-I'm so sorry!" He stammered, waving his arms in the air. "It w-was an accident!" You looked at down at your feet. "It was?" You said with a sad voice. He looked down at you, a little surprised that you'd liked it. He looked away and scratched the back of his head nervously. "W-well, uh... It' d-doesn't have to b-be." He said, his voice cracking a little. You grinned and wrapped your arms around his neck, pressing your lips against his. You felt him shake a little, from excitement, but after a few seconds he relaxed. He put his hands on your waist and pulled you closer, so that your shirt was touching his hard skin. After a minute or two, he slowly pulled away so you could breath. "S-so... Did you l-like it?" He said in a nervous/exited tone of voice. "That's not the only thing I liked." You said, running your fingers down his scaly cheek. he looked confused. "You. I like you." You said with a smile on your face. He blushed and gave you a big smile back. "I-I like you too (Y/N)." He said with a blush, and laid his hands atop of yours and brushed his lips over your forehead.
