Tess.... Newsflash, he does that with most women. In the past two months he's had seven personal assistants! That's like one assistant per week. What if you only last a week. Tess you're like my baby sister, I can't handle my boss hurting you like that. I really love my job and if he does hurt you I will quit. I really don't want to. Please Tessa, stay safe, don't let him too far into your heart. I know you.... You fall fast and you fall hard.

I could see the hurt in Tessa's eyes. Tears building up in her eyes. I needed to give her that lecture. If I didn't she would definitely have gotten hurt by Mr. Lawson and I have a feeling she still will.

I pressed play on my phone and "Can't Touch This" by M.C. Hammer blared through the speakers. It was mine and Tessa's vibe song. I turned it on hoping to lift the mood. I started singing my part since Tess and I usually took turns.

"My my my my. Music hits so hard! Makes me say Oh my Lord!" I paused waiting for Tess to sing her part but she kept quiet. "It feels good when you know you're down a super dope guy from Oaktown." Then I heard Tessa mumble her part. "And I'm known as such and this is a beat uh you can't touch." The mood got lighter as we drove eventually reaching my house.

"Home sweet Home." I said getting her luggage from the boot. I saw her come out and smiled at her. "What?" "You're doing a friends with benefits thing with my boss. Which means if you two get married I will be in favor of some heavy nepotism!" She laughed at me and we went inside. I put her luggage by her door inside her room and explained to her that since it was six I would just go to work since it was the time I woke up anyways. She nodded at me and I left her to sleep.

I had never dreamt of anyone.... At least not like this.... I was in my room back in Detroit seated on Ryder's lap. As you can imagine from that sentence what we were doing. Why did I have to dream this! I mean he's cute but not like keeping me up in my dreams type of cute.

I woke up at around 10:30 am and decided to get settled in since it looked like Ethan and I were roommates for now. I unpacked and made my bed. Eventually I stepped into the shower and took a quick shower then dressed up.

I know I was only going to see Ethan and Ethan's seen me in sweats and twelve different meals after a breakup but now Ryder was in the picture. I have no idea how I hadn't noticed him. I dressed in light blue jeans and a white shirt. Not too showy but I think I looked cute. I put on some makeup and curled my hair.
