The sun begins to rise. As it crept through the window an alarm began to ring as it reached seven am, the alarm was then quickly shut off by Andrew who had woken up a bit early. Raising up bright and early he does the morning ritual of starting his day. First he brushes his teeth, normally he doesn't need to brush his teeth or do anything resembling what a normal human would do since he was an android. But he has appearances to keep. Most importantly to keep being human.
After brushing his teeth he went downstairs, putting on an apron to begin cooking breakfast. Today's breakfast was avocado and sunny side up eggs on top of whole wheat toast. He placed the plate on the kitchen table and turned back to the stove to make Nikki her lunch for school. As he did he heard the sounds of footsteps, turning his head around he saw Cassie awake. She wore bathrobes as she began to stretch and yawn. Opening her eyes, she saw the plate of toast and smiled.
'Breakfast 'for me? You shouldn't have' Cassie flirted.
'It was the least I could do' Andrew flirted back. Cassie smiled and went over to her plate. Taking a bite of the toast. Chewing for a bit and nodding. It was good.
'Great cook, great in lover, great looks, great mind, what can't you do?' Cassie asked, finishing up her toast. Andrew rubbed the back of his head smiling at the compliment. The two then heard the sound of rapid footsteps coming from the stairs.
'That...' Andrew was about to say something but Nikki appears in the kitchen, pulling a chair to sit.
'Morning dad, what's for breakfast?' She asked. Andrew passed her a plate of pancakes with eggs and bacon. He also handed her a bottle of syrup to which she squeezed all over her pancakes and began eating it. Cassie looked at the clock realizing it was time to go.
'Welp, I'm going to get ready' She said, walking back upstairs, right before nugging Nikki's head. Leaving the kitchen, the two could hear the honking coming from outside, both shrugged as it was probably the school bus ready to pick her up.
'There's the bus, hurry up and eat your breakfast' Andrew pointed out.
Nikki didn't need the reminder but appreciated the advice quickly gobball down her pancakes and bacon. Got off from her seat and ran towards the door. Grabbing her bag along the way. She was about to leave before she was called out.
'Forgetting something?' He asked throwing her lunch at her, Nikki turned around and caught it.
'Thanks! Bye dad!' She yelled out before leaving home.
Once Nikki was gone, Andrew pulled out a bowl and filled it with pork, eggs and slices of cucumbers. Once full he placed the bowl on the floor, looking up he saw Cassie walking towards the door. Replacing her bathrobes with a yellow turtleneck, a short blue overcoat, and blue jeans. Before reaching the door she heard a loud cough.
Turning around seeing Andrew holding a bag of lunch. She chuckled a bit, rubbing her head before webbing her lunch and pulling it towards herself. Once caught, Cassie blew him a kiss before leaving. Andrew being the last one to leave, quickly putting on his hero suit. Leaving the house, before he paced a couple of steps backwards realizing he forgot something. Coming right back home to open the back door to the backyard. Once he did that, he quickly left leaving a sonic boom. The house was now empty or would have been if weren't the sound of steps slowing descending down the stairs, the sound being Wood, reaching to the floor and letting out a yawn.
Walking towards the kitchen he searched around until he saw the bowl that Andrew had left for him as breakfast. When he approached it, he began slowly dragging the bowl by his teeth making sure he didn't accidentally break it, dragging it all the way to the backyard. Once outside Wood sat down eating his breakfast, gobbling it all down till it was empty. With the bowl now empty it was time for his favorite part of the day, sunbathing. Finding a nice spot with lots of sun. Wood laid down, yawned, and rested his head on his arm. Aiming to take a long nap.
