Were on the way to New York I'm not excited I'll need to go to a ghetto ass school not any better then Chicago. I put in my AirPods to block out the noise of my brother and mom arguing I put on rod wave.
Hours later...
We're almost to New York I've been asleep for a while. At least I'm wearing a bonnet we're 1 mile from New York I'm more excited I guess.
9-10 minutes later..
We're in New York it's pretty I'm excited to see my grandmama and maybe my cousins if there around. Both of them went to jail there out which is good we're pulling up to my grandmamas house.
I open the door of the car and walk around it feels good to have fresh air. Then I see my grandmama "Grandmama!" I yell throwing my arms around her to hug her. "Laila you've gotten so big.."
1 hour later
I've unpacked my stuff well most of it some of the moving trucks aren't here yet which is annoying. At least I got my clothes and everything. I've put on a better outfit then before my grandmama told me there's a deli near by ima go to it later I've already heard the New York accent. I've been told my Chicago accent is very strong which I don't really mind the boys here are worse than in Chicago they call you a "ho" which is stupid.
