Okay so as some of you might know this is like a crossover/second pov from the
"tired ted office worker x neko reader"

[after college]

You got your first job in a marketing industry because one of the same hybrid mixed employee's as you had ended up doing a great job within a few months of just joining, so they started to offer work to hybrids with your same instincts for better work performance's.
(Reference to the tired office worker ted one shot :3)

[your first day]

Once you arrived for the first day of work you were set with a supervisor who's name was Lily,  who showed you around and told you everything you needed to know. She wasn't a hybrid so she would occasionally stare at your tail or ears when they made sudden movements, but you didn't take offense to it because she probably just hasn't really seen a hybrid like you much. You simply listened and made mental notes for later on.

You would occasionally see other hybrids that were owls, lambs, bunnies, even lizards but they were not really around your area much. You did meet the employee who made it possible for you to join and she was very friendly and helpful when you had questions, if she didn't have the answer she would run over and ask the intimidating guy that you learned who's name was Ted.
no one really wanted to be near him or asking him for help.
But he was pretty calm around her but with anyone else he would just get annoyed if they said a simple "hello"
It was a little surprising to you but you soon learned he was her supervisor, Maybe that's why he's nicer to her.
Well you didn't want to get too nosy so you just ignored it.

[time skip]

You were walking down the hall carrying some paperwork that needed to be given to one of the people in a different office section so you checked all the numbered rooms making sure you entered the right one.
Once you found the right room you knocked and waited to be allowed in. When the door opened you were greeted by a rather large man who was standing around 6ft3 maybe 4, the room was dimly lit by a desk lamp and the windows curtains were shut.
you quickly realized it was probably also a fellow hybrid due to the height difference and his hands that were a little gradient going from black finger tips to white hands.
You felt his hard stare on you for a moment before he moved to the side.
You realized he wanted you to come in and you did, not really wanting to not do as told by someone you just met, who by all means could be a higher up and maybe even the manager of the building.
You walked in and looked for a space on his desk and set the paperwork down, you finally got the bravery to look at the man and looked over at the door.
He was a...ram hybrid...

[schlatt's POV]

I heard a knock at the door and walked over, grumbling under my breath as I was almost falling asleep at my desk. I opened the door and was a little confused when I wasn't met with my boss or my company partner. When I looked down I saw a small...? Wait no, petite woman, of course the first thing that caught my attention was her ears that folded back slightly from me suddenly opening the door without making any sound.
She looked a little familiar at first glance, but I also remembered that we just newly hired another hybrid so it couldn't have been someone I've seen walking down the halls.
I moved to the side allowing her to come in.
She set the paperwork on my desk and looked over at me and we finally made eye contact. She had a nice e/c colored eyes and she seemed to be a little surprised by my hybrid body type.
I let the door close and walked over to the window and opened the curtains for more light to enter the room.
"So you're new here..?" I turned and looked over at her. "Yes sir, I'm y/n by the way"
She gave me her hand to shake and I took it without breaking eye contact. "Hm, y/n...nice name but I don't like people using my actual name so just call me sir, or any other nickname that is appropriate. But anyways welcome to the club, do you drink coffee..?"
She looked at me a little confused but shook her head "no sir?"
"Well that's about to change, get a sturdy mug and you will survive here"
I chuckled lightly at her confused and slightly worried expression
"Don't worry sweetheart, you'll manage without the coffee, I was just messing with you"
"O-oh okay.." I patted her head as I already started to grow fond of her.
Her ears flattened in response. I smiled but snapped out of it as I realized I was being a little too physical with her and quickly backed away slightly embarrassed.

I cleared my throat and walked to the door to
opened it "so um thanks for dropping off those papers, but I don't want to keep you from doing your job.."
She looked up a little surprised by my sudden change in demeanor but she reluctantly nodded and walked out. I waved at her and closed my door.
I slumped against the wall while letting out a long sighed, "damit, why was she so...augh.." I groaned and rubbed my face
"she's just a new employee, nothing out of the ordinary... but kind of cute tho" my face scrunched up in confusion with a hint of disbelief when I admitted that to myself
"oh god not today, she's just going to be fresh meat for those horny fuckers in this office building.."
I rolled my eyes and walked to my desk and sat down, going back to my paperwork I was still puzzled about my attraction for the girl, after all I literally just met her. Though something about her made me think I knew her for so long already.

[a few weeks later]

Me and y/n had been having small interactions with each other like having to drop off some stuff at each other's desks or just seeing one another in the halls and having a nice chat. Over time we were starting to act like normal friends that knew each other for longer than 3 years. She also got a lot more comfortable around me and wouldn't be so startled from my tall figure that would loom over her most of the time. I also realized she was very playful sometimes, when she was borde she could make me play around with her without even having to ask.

And today was one of those days...except maybe it didn't end how we thought...

[Y/n's POV]

I was on break and I was wandering around the halls looking for something to do. Nothing really came to my interest so I thought about visiting my other hybrid friend whom only lets me call "sir" or "J.C."

I walked to his office and was about to knock when I heard him say something that was muffled by the door, he sounded frustrated so I decided to sneak in so I could see him without his all nice guy personality he always put on around me.
As I walked in quietly I looked around cautiously making sure I wouldn't alert him of my presence.
(lol Ted x reader reference ahead)

He was silently grumbling to himself in annoyance while doing some paperwork that was given
to him by a different employee, that ended up falling behind TWICE and had to give the work to the more experienced employees and supervisors.
Of course they all hated his guts for it, but they couldn't just not accept the responsibility to take care of it.

You walked closer to him and smiled sinisterly as you sneaked up next to him.
"Boo"
It seemed he almost fell out of his chair when he heard you suddenly right beside him.
"W-what the fuck!? Where'd you come from???"
He jumped slightly at your "surprise appearance"
And was now lying against the chair like he melted into it.
You simply just laughed at his reaction and smiled cheekily
"you seem frustrated right now, are you okay?"
You intentionally ignored his first question and shifted the conversation to him.
He sighed and rubbed his neck tiredly
"Yeah I guess, but it's that idiots fault. He just couldn't finish a simple task"
"Mhm...when's the deadline?"
"In a few days, so it's not that bad but I still need to do my own work"
Your fluffy ears perked up when you had an idea.
"You know, I think you need a little break"
Your tail swayed in a playful manner as you saw you had got his attention.
"No, not right now y/n, I know you have a sneaky idea when your tail moves that way" you quickly snatched your tail and held it behind your back
"What?? I don't know what your talking about"
He chuckled and turned back to his work
"Go away I don't need you distracting me"
He shooed you away and smiled smugly when you huffed out annoyed.

You were about to walk away when you turned around again and smiled at a dangerous idea you got that would totally get his attention.
You slowly walked back up to him and smiled at him warmly. When he turned to look at you a little confused you got on your tippy toes and gave him a small kiss on the cheek and ran away not giving him a chance to gesture what had happened...
