Ananya Pov:

I was lost in thought of him, when suddenly the driver's voice interrupted me. "Ananya Ma'am Aapka university aagya." I look out the window and indeed we have arrived. I pick up my bag and books and open the car door. Stepping out, I walk towards the entrance of the university. I have no friends here as I am too introverted to make friends.

(We have arrived at university, ma'am.)

No one wants to be friends with a boring, introverted, and top-scoring student like me. I'm like the character Naina from the movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, the quintessential studious girl. I made my way to the classroom and entered. As usual, I took a seat in the farthest corner, alone. As I sat down, I was lost in my thoughts about him, thinking about the moment I saw him after five years.

I had always prayed to Lord Krishna for a chance to meet him, and it seemed like my prayers had been heard today. I was so deep in thought that I didn't even realize that the teacher had entered the classroom and was taking attendance. As the teacher called out my name for attendance, I jolted out of my daydream and replied "Present" in a soft voice. Feeling embarrassed for not paying attention, I looked down to avoid the gaze of my classmates.

After taking attendance, the teacher announced, "A new student has joined your class, and I want you all to meet him. Please come in." I wasn't paying attention to the teacher, and my gaze remained fixed on my lap. However, a voice suddenly grasped my attention, and my heart began to race, my legs trembled, and my gaze slowly rose and looked in the direction of the voice. That voice was his- Vishal's. Wait, is he a new student here? Wait, WHAT?

I couldn't believe my eyes. Vishal, the boy I had been thinking about just moments ago, was standing in front of the class. My heart was beating even faster now, and my mind was racing with surprise and shock. The teacher continued speaking, but I couldn't focus on his words. The only thing I could think about was the fact that Vishal was now a student in my class. My mind was filled with questions and emotions - what was he doing here? Why was he back? Had he known I was here too?

Vishal then introduced himself to the class, "Hello everyone, I'm Vishal Rathore. It's nice to meet you all." When he briefly made eye contact with me, I found myself clenching my pen tightly. The teacher then spoke up, "Okay, Vishal, now you can take your seat." The Teacher looked around, but all seats were occupied, barring one - mine. I was certain of what was about to transpire, and my breath caught in my throat as my heart pounded in my chest; I could hear it loud and clear.

The teacher glanced at me, then looked back at Vishal. "You can sit next to Ananya," the teacher said, gesturing towards me. My heart skipped a beat as I heard my name, and I could feel the eyes of my classmates on me, as well as Vishal's gaze. I forced myself to keep a neutral expression as Vishal walked towards my seat and took the empty chair next to me.
