Short description: Box went through the Other Side before ending up in LotB. He should've been killed in there. aka Balance & OverBalance explore an Ancient City and meets Box. Angst.
using Inverted kinda loosely here. from Side Character to Villain(?) baby, wooo! yeah i thought it'll be funny to make Box more funked. have fun :) srry for any ooc-ness, or misspellings. i uh, wrote this at like 4 am and continued it at like, the evening.

Balance nodded as he held the sword within his hand tighter. The cave was completely covered in some sort of dark blue infection. It was the only thing he could think of calling it, it looked like it was spreading just like the Darkness... or any sort of infection, really.
The wall looked as through it was crumbling beneath the blue rot, vines growing and hanging from the growing frugal like it's a new terrain. This... couldn't be something that came from this world. It's probably from another universe, like most things here. But that meant it's new, and he doesn't know how it works. This is new territory. Something he'll have to figure out.
The leader breathes in and sighs, gagging slightly at the smell of something decayed. Oh, this is definitely rot. A rot infection, maybe? Or will he get a break and it'll just be rot that so happens to appear here randomly?
"Okay," he declared as he approached the entrance of the cave, "Let's get this over with. Over, make sure nothing jumps us."
OverBalance: alright
⠀ The smell is horrible. If he was even a bit doubtful if this was rot, then it was confirmed by now. He could see Over covering his mouth and nose out of the corner of his eye and muffled noises of disgust. If anything was living down here, it sure didn't last long. There's even skeletons of animals further deeper within the cave that he could make out. Oh Origin, what could've happened here?
"Oh gosh." Balance muttered under his breath as he passes the decayed bones of what was once living. His steps were squishy and make noises like he's stepping on soulsand. Over looked very uncomfortable throughout the whole journey, he doesn't blame him. "Yeah this.. ain't looking too great."
OverBalance: mhm...
There's even fog down here. He doesn't know how it got this deep down, if it even is fog. Is it dust? Flasks? He... doesn't wanna think about it anymore.
