Chapter 3 : Start training
"Are you okay now?" Tharn asked Phaya, who was trotting beside him. When dawn came, Tharn watched for a while until he had to wake up Phaya who had a sweaty face due to the nightmare.
"Oh, it's okay," Phaya said before turning and running.
Tharn looked at Phaya worriedly, but didn't ask anything else.
The instructor turned to look at the two who were talking in line. A few minutes later, everyone was punished for not running two miles...Damn! The instructor has good eyes.
"Get up! Keep running!"
Tharn gritted his teeth. They got up and continued running. Every three miles (4.83Km), going up the hill, they stopped with punishments in various positions and continued to get up and run. The suffocating heat seemed to have burned everything, making everyone sweat as if they had just entered the water. Fatigue began to appear on everyone's expressions. They could only scream in response. They sang the hula as instructed by the instructor. They spent the whole day going up and down hills and ended with a swim back to Koh Phra.
Fatigue prevented anyone from speaking. In addition to following each other back to the living room running personal errands, they then went downstairs for dinner and got ready for bed. Even though Tharn had something to say to Phaya, but when he turned to look at the tall figure, Phaya had already fallen asleep. Then Tharn lay down and soon fell asleep...
The next day they had to learn how to pump up an inflatable boat, maintain it and move it. A three hundred kilo rubber boat for seven people to help each other carry and row around the buoy. There was also special training for the instructors to bring supplies to the other side at night.
Tharn, Phaya, Singh, Yai, Dark, Thai Flag and Nation are in the same group. Although they have something against Nation, they were able to separate their personal matters from their missions. In this event, everyone has to join forces to carry a rubber boat across the rocks.
At first, I was worried about Singh, whose physical condition was different from everyone else, turned out to have a conscious mind and a tactile brain. He is the one who has managed to have better control over the brain than all of us. He knew very well how to direct the commands so that we could carry out the task. At first, this bastard seemed displeased with acting as the leader of the group. However, he managed to get us to stay focused, through motivational words, which encouraged us, especially the people who insulted him before, to continue with our teamwork.
"Although my body is not as strong as yours, my brain is wiser than yours. Do I need to tell you which fields I completed to obtain ten degrees?" he said with a serious face before repeating the solemn tone. "You just have to believe me. That's why we save energy and are able to quickly break through the barrier in front of us"
Ah...or is that the quality that got him through the selection, Than thought.
"Do as Singh says," he told Phaya. A nerd who everyone says is stupid behind his back. Then he secretly saw the bastard Nation clench his jaw tightly. It seemed a little embarrassing to obey Singh's command.
Now the men are motivated enough to row their boats to the rocks and carry a three-hundred-pound inflatable boat up the hill. Doing strictly what Sing says.
Singh gave the commands and observed whether they were doing what he was told. This way they were able to carry the rubber boat up the hill. Then they had to carry an inflatable boat down the hill to complete the mission in time.
Training continued without interruption for all other teams. If someone cannot continue, they can leave. Some were unable to continue as they became ill and were kicked off the list for being a burden to their friends who need to help take care of each other in order to finish the mission. And it is surprising that a person like Singh has survived until now.
