Chapter 5 : Announcement of results
After Hell Week, twenty-three of them were coerced into taking the theoretical vocational courses required for special investigations. Unlike regular SEAL training, Hell Week survivors must understand the science associated with all types of investigations, fighting skills, use of special equipment, and actual field work. This course is a new process used to select people.
Together with the Special Investigation Unit, they had to study theory and practice non-stop. Why do I have to read books to prepare for exams? Fortunately, I had Singh to help me with private lessons. This time, they would not be able to answer a single question. Tharn and Yai finished their exams quickly, then went out to wait in front of the building.
"It's over," Tharn said, swaying lazily from left to right.
"What the hell are you doing? We still have to wait to hear the results," Yai/Big said tiredly. He was worried about the answers given in the test. Big is not good at theory and he was not sure that the answer he had given would be correct.
Get up!
Tharn squeezed his big shoulder and walked away.
"We taught together last night, Singh said I could do a lot. What are you worried about?"
"You know I'm not good at this. Otherwise, you wouldn't have been tutoring me since first grade, right?" He really studied stupidly. Although Ai Tharn did not intend to learn much, he learned more.
"Wait for the fruit to come out and then talk about it again."
"I think you can..."
"Oh, what did you bring to measure what I'm getting?"
"I don't know, my guess..." Yai said with a smile.
Tharn is dry and tries to reproduce it at some point.
"My guess tells me you did it too." In fact, he had no feelings about the test results. What I said is just reassuring. I don't want my brother Yai to be stressed.
"If I can't be, but you can be. You have to take good care of yourself." He had already promised Khun Na Kaew that he would take good care of Tharn. That is, if he is not chosen, he will not be able to repay Nam Kaew's gratitude for saving his family. If so, Yai will probably feel guilty to death.
"What about you? What don't you trust?... The result hasn't come out yet.
"Besides, I can take care of myself, brother. There's no need for you to come see me. I've grown so big that dogs can't even lick my ass."
"I don't know. I'm worried. I'm stressed."
Tharn looked at his older brother and shook his head. How stressful would that be? Yai complained to Tharn a few more sentences. The others began to leave gradually.
"Hey, what's up guys, they're full. Leave before everyone else, my friend." Dark Tee walked over and greeted.
"How full? I can't do it, so leave first." Yai replied.
Tharn turned his head and asked Phaya, "How did you do?"
"Nothing special, it was bananas," Phaya replied calmly, causing the others to turn their faces away and become irritated.
"Yes, the perfect man... you are good at everything, I'm jealous of you, handsome, rich, perfect size, intelligent and good at fighting. Is it true that you really don't have a girlfriend?" Khem asked enviously.
Phaya raised a smile, a slightly contemplative expression on his face before responding in a warm voice.
"Only people who like me..." he finished, revealing a sweet smile. That beautiful smile made Tharn look into his eyes and shiver in a strange way. So strange that Tharn didn't think of an answer as to why. He stood there listening to Phaya and Dark's conversation silently.
