My conviction is the only reason I remain. I stand here, surrounded by the corpses of my company, and these are all the thoughts that run through my mind. I am the Emperor's angel, his wrath, and yet I and my brothers fall.

The overwhelming number of foes surround us, my sword crackles in my hand yet I cannot feel it. My hand rests upon the floor, as does my arm up until the middle of my bicep. In my other arm, this one still connected to my body, rests my relic shield and Volkite pistol. My helmet's augury scanners tell me it is nearly empty and has almost burned through its barrel.

I have no chance to allow it to rest, again I fire and tear through several more omnic foot soldiers. The machine spirit screams in my hand, and yet I ignore it again as I smash an enemy with my shield. More open fire upon my hide, yet I ignore the majority of their shots, putting another Volkite shot through as many as I can with how few shots I have remaining.

The machine spirits grow deafening, as I fire another shot it yells its final taste of fury upon my foes. The gun is torn apart, melted in my hand with a harsh explosion that takes my hand and a portion of my arm. Bones splinter and shoot into both myself and the closest enemies to me.

With only my shield remaining I beat down the next few, their rounds hitting me hard and dealing more and more damage to my ceramite hide. For every few I beat down, ten marched ominously towards me.

They piled atop me slowly crushing me, even with my ceramite armour, under the extreme weight of hundreds of omnic's, both corpses and those still trying to end my flickering life.

With my final ounce of strength I yelled out my cry, the Chapter would die here but the world would live on. In my final moments I sent a final Vox, to summon all that remained of the Chapter to rebuild her.
