Finding "The" back

I took a step towards the ugly thing and told her.....

"Im taking that old man with me" and give her a little smile just because I could.

She stared to laugh and said
"Go ahead, girly." But she didn't bother to move

"Can you please..."

"What?? Move?? ." She said looking quite anoyed.

That feeling of fear rise even higher but I'm not about to back up on this. I've decided to help this man and that's what I'm going to do. 

"Oh don't worry about it" I said taking a step forward and trying to sound as confident as possible. Maybe just maybe she'll think I have some sort of power too.

To my surprise it seem to work
she put her hand on the statue and picked it up like the most lighter piece of foam then she hand it over to me.

I don't know if she was testing my strength but if she was then she got something out of it because I was feeling like hulk when I took that statue.

"Well, well, well... What are you?" She said looking at me as if trying to figure me out.

"What I'm I?" I said, because I thought I was a human but this creature just knocked me out of my thoughts.

"Now don't act stupid with me little insect!" She yelled at me in frustration.

And this is when I take my revenge and start to laugh... Then between the giggles I said

"Well what do you want me to be?!? You act as if I didn't look human enough to... maybe...be a HUMAN!"

-Who's the stupid one now? huh.- I said inside my head then I laught once more but... Now that I realize, it was a bad idea.

Her face tured blak and her long nails decided to all of a sudden grow even longer.

-What in the living world is this!- I said to my self, again. -Is she about to attack me?!?- And just as I had assumed she launched her self towards me.

"Ooh hell nah!" I said and before she could land on me I took off running.

"Where are you going!? I'm not done" the humanoid said with the deepest voice I ever heard.

"Well I don't need you to be done!" I screamed and once again... I got her mad.

-Crap! She stared running faster!-
-My legs! Come on!!!-

-Wait!... THE STATUE!-

here I go back again to that crazy thing. I take a look back just to measure the distance and to see if I was able to run past her. She looked pretty mad so I guess I could have her following me in a circle.

I took a deep breath and... RUN!

She made a big effort to catch me as I turned but for some strange reason I was faster.

"See you later sucker!" I screamed as I flew past her.

Never felt so so good! I was feeling!
And it was a good feeling, the feeling of adrenaline.
Before I got to the statue, to my surprise my feet stared to feel lighter and then my waist then my entire body was flying.

Maybe she was right? Maybe I'm not a human...

Then what I'm I?
