I always thought of myself as a goody two shoes. I always did as I was supposed to. That is until Duncan had the genius idea to burn down the confessional and with it, the rest of the island. And of course, he made me his accomplice.

"Princess run!" I hear him shout. Although I'm too distracted by the roaring flames and the adrenaline rush of rule breaking.

I snap out of my daze, suddenly aware of just how close the blaze really was. I turn to see Duncan waiting, waving frantically and gesturing for me to follow him. I sprint towards him, dodging flames as I run. When I'm finally next to Duncan he grabs a hold of my hand. We take off, bolting and weaving through trees until we finally make it back to the cabins. We knock on the cabin doors screaming

"Fire! Everybody run!"

Everyone scatters and flies out of their beds. Duncan and I are already at the dock of shame, we dive in to hide from the flames and wait for the others. Soon all the other campers arrive, followed by Chris, Chef and the rest of the crew.

"Alright campers, it seems like someone lit the confessional on fire. It had to have been one of you, so just fess up and we won't have to get the police involved."

"I think involving the police would be a little drastic don't you think?" Duncan says, trying to persuade Chris.

"Nope, Someone committed arson" Chris states bluntly as if that wasn't insane

Everyone starts talking, spreading rumours and sharing theories.

Chris interrupts the chatter

"Luckily, we had security cameras covering the confessional"

My heart drops to my stomach. No, I can't go to jail, it would ruin my life, my future.

I shoot Duncan a worried glance to which he responds with a reassuring smile and nod.
