A pink glass staircase connected all five floors of Purity Tower, spiralling in a carved replica of Rapunzel's endless hair. The door to Elenas room, on the fifth floor was decorated in a glittery sign covered with hearts. "WELCOME ELENA, MAISIE, DELIAH!"

As it turned out, Maisie was the granddaughter of Cinderella and Delilah was snow whites daughter. Elena was still just Elena. While the three girls got settled a commotion occurred outside, all of which had to do with Agatha. She was meant to bunked with Reena and Millicent, but they didn't stay long. Reena, blessed with luscious Arabian skin and brilliant grey eyes, laboured to move her enormous trunk into the room, only to find Agatha and move it right back out. "She just looks so evil," Elena heard her sob. "I don't want to die!" ("Move in with me," she heard Beatrix say. "The fairies will understand.") And indeed, the fairies did understand. And they understood when red-haired Millicent, with an upturned nose and thin eyebrows, feigned a fear of heights and demanded a room on a lower floor. And so, Agatha was alone, which made her feel right at home.

Elena had attempted to go check on her, but she was turned away by the girl, who claimed she wanted to be alone. Maisie and Deliah on the other hand, could not get enough of their new roommate. They wanted to know everything about the girl.

"So you're just from a village with no magic, like at all." Maisie said sounding almost disappointed. The girl had delicate red hair and light blue eyes. She wore a light green dress and had brought so much luggage Elena was afraid it wasn't going to fit in her section of the wardrobe. That fear quickly went away when she got a good look at the room.

Massive, jewelled mirrors glared back from pink walls. Elaborate murals flaunted beautiful princesses kissing dashing princes. Arching over each bed was a white silk canopy, shaped like a royal carriage, and a glorious fresco of clouds blanketed the ceiling tiles, with smiling cupids shooting love arrows from puffy perches. The room had a massive bathroom attached it as well, with a giant bath and three matching vanities. Her two roommates had already claimed two of them which left her the middle one. Same could be said for the beds. What was most impressive though was the wardrobe it seemed to go forever, and the fairies spent ages packing the girls clothes away.

"No magic at all, minus my family, Callias and the storybooks." She had already explained the wand to them when it fell out of her basket.

"The storybooks, with our parents' fairytales in?" Delilah questioned. The girl had fair skin and light brown hair. She was stunning, in a long red dress with a delicate pair of black shoes.

"Yes, and with children from our village who get taken."

"Like you and the other girl?" Maisie asked, as she fixed her hair. For the welcome ceremony was what she had said. She had insisted she fixed Elenas afterwards who despite the flawless dress she was still a mess.

"Yes, Agatha and Sophie, but she is in the other school. But technically I am not meant to be here." Elena announced which caused the two other girls heads to turn.

"What!" Deliliah yelled, running out of the bathroom, where she had playing around with makeup.

"I wasn't born in the village. I was born somewhere in the kingdoms, and then I was cursed by some crazy witch." Truth be told, Elena was not sure why she had decided to tell them all of it, but she just needed someone to know. Someone to understand why she wasn't meant to be here. Why she had tried so hard to run.

"You're cursed? I thought we had to a least wait till we graduate for that?" Maisie had finally finished with her hair. She wanted it to be perfect for the welcome festivities whatever they were.

"When I was born, evil witch or fairy or whatever she is or was cursed me. Like green swirling magic kind of curse, it essentially is trapped in my blood until I get stabbed by this like green poison knife. I think."
