Chan allowed the angel inside, and neither of them got any sleep that night.

Bin stood in the bathroom, staring at his reflection, disgusted by the dirt covering him. Back in his realm, he was always spotless.

"He should've told me I looked like this," he muttered, scrubbing his face with warm water. His eyes welled up, and his throat tightened. Bin pulled away from the sink, taking deep breaths while looking up at the ceiling to stop the tears from falling.

"It's okay, Binnie. I'll be home soon," he whispered to himself, glancing back at his reflection. The dirt was finally gone, and he sighed in relief, looking down at his worn clothes.

In the kitchen, Chan was making breakfast, something he rarely did. He usually just picked fruit from a tree, washed it, and ate that. But today was different because he had an unexpected guest.

They sat on the floor with a small table between them, two bowls of ramen in front of them. Bin stared nervously at his bowl, then looked at Chan, sighing softly.

"I don't know how you demons do it," Bin mumbled. "But in my realm, when you're a guest, you offer the first bite to your host." He smiled softly as he picked up a spoonful of the soup and held it out to Chan.

Chan didn't look at the spoon, his gaze locked on Bin's eyes. Bin's smile faltered as he hesitated. "It's proper for the host to eat first," Bin added with a nervous grin. "It's part of our table manners!"

Chan crossed his arms, sitting up straight, causing Bin to blink rapidly. "What's wrong?" Bin asked softly.

Chan fought back a smile. "Are you worried I poisoned it?"

Bin's face flushed with embarrassment as he lowered the spoon back into the bowl. "Sorry if I offended you," he muttered.

"I get why you're on edge," Chan said, locking eyes with Bin.

Bin brightened up a little, nodding. "You understand, right?"

"You ended up in the wrong realm, crossed into a military zone, and got caught up when the power systems failed," Chan replied, his eyes scanning his surroundings before looking back at Bin with a hint of concern. "I'd be crazy to think you're just a harmless angel."

Bin's expression dropped as he leaned forward. "Don't tell me you think I'm a spy."

"I'm just considering all possibilities."

Bin laughed, shaking his head, covering his grin with his hand. "Me? A spy?" His voice was playful. "I'm actually pretty famous in my realm." He winked. "Not that I'm telling you my name. Don't want you getting all star struck."

"Good thing this village doesn't have internet," Chan responded with a hint of amusement.

Bin's eyes widened in shock. "No internet? Are you serious?" He groaned, slumping on the floor. "Great. Now no one will know I'm stuck in this weird place. My realm is probably in chaos, wondering where I've disappeared to."

Back in the angelic realm, Bin's family sat in their grand palace, worry evident on their faces.

"They searched all night but found nothing," his sister Jae Hee said, her concern visible. Their father, Han, nodded beside her.

"We can't rely on just them. We should hire professionals and start our own search," Han added, and the others agreed.

"Make sure no word gets out, and watch for reporters."

"I've already taken care of that," Jae Hee replied, her husband beside her, who patted her shoulder. "Good job," he said with a smile, though it was clear that now wasn't the time for affection.
