THIRD PERSON POV

Mitsuba was on the couch, watching the clock. Of course, the two boys have had sleepovers before, so they know what to order when they order out.

Although, Kou was starting to think Teru was catching on to Kou and his feelings.

Kou closed the refrigerator door and sighed. He didn't realize it was open and it was probably left open since he and Mitsuba talked.

5:15pm

Eventually the pizza arrived. At around 5:30. Kou thanked the delivery person, gave them the money, and shut the door. Mitsuba got up and walked over to the kitchen. He was still kind of weak and in pain, but he brushed it off being the stubborn kid he is.

Kou watched Mitsuba come over. He was slower than normal. "Seriously, I can tell your wounds still hurt. I'm being serious when I say you shouldn't be active much."

"As if you know anythin- ow!"

"Exactly."

"S-shut up."

"Just come eat."

"What do you think I'm doing?"

"Shut up."

For the slightest second, Kou could've sworn he saw and heard Mitsuba let out a giggle. It made him feel at home more than being actually at his house.

Kou sat at the counter top. It had chairs in front of it and a huge space for food. It wasn't a full table, It was more so for eating snacks, but occasionally he'd sit there.

Mitsuba sat next to Kou. They hadn't been at one of the others houses since... summer? Maybe? It was hard to recall. Exams ended today, luckily, so it meant winter break. The two ate in silence.

A comfortable silence.

It was 8:32pm. Kou sat on one side of the couch, Mitsuba sat on the other. It had started raining a little after they finished eating, but nothing terrible. Then the power went out.

"Do you not pay the electricity bills?!" Mitsuba squeaked.

"Obviously it was the storm outside! Are you dense? We have a generator. Stay here." Kou stood up and started walking towards a hallway. It most likely lead to the garage where the generator was.

And although he would never admit, Mitsuba was terrified. He had never really liked being along. But being alone, in the dark, while raining? This is such an illegal combo. Mitsuba thought.

5 minutes had passed and Kou hadn't came back. Mitsuba was getting more worried by the seconds. And not for himself. For Kou. Where was he??

10 minutes.

Mitsuba stood up. Where is he? He should've been back by now. Is he okay? He thought. His eyes darted back and forth from the hallway to the front door.

Creak.

Mitsuba immediately turned to the noise. It came from the hallway that lead to the garage. Mitsuba could only stay still.

Slam.

A door just shut.

There was a figure in the hallway.

Mitsuba backed away farther and farther. There was no telling who or what was in the hallway.

Then the lights came on.

It was Kou.

Mitsuba's heart slowed as he realized it was Kou.

"Hey, sorry it took me long. Teru-nii moved the generator last time and I had to find it." Kou explained.

"Oh, makes sense." Mitsuba's voice was slightly shaky. After being scared, it just made him more weak. Another screw up.

Kou tilted his head but said nothing about it. "Let's watch a movie, I'm bored."

"What? Uh, okay." Mitsuba walked over to the couch where Kou had sat. The two sat closer than earlier, closer than normal.

Kou grabbed the remote, not thinking much of their close proximity, and turned on the tv.

The duo decided on a movie and turned on the movie.

9:53pm

Mitsuba finally fell asleep. Kou hadn't noticed until he felt something on his shoulder. He turned his head towards the thing.

It was Mitsuba's head.

Mitsuba fell asleep leaning on Kou. Although, Kou didn't really mind. He knew Mitsuba was weak and more tired than usual due to his wounds. But even if he wasn't he still wouldn't mind.

Wow. He really did love Mitsuba.
