Noah was getting his food, talking to a friend who worked in the canteen.

"If you need money, just tell me. I have more than enough," he said, holding out his hand, but the girl quickly pushed it away.

"Noah, stop it. You’ve already given me a lot. Just because you have a lot doesn’t mean you should give it to everyone. People might use you."she said scolding him and

Noah just smiled.

"I’m also using Alex, so it’s fine , he's rich so let us all use his money ,it's a proper use of money when in economy income is distributed equally,I m also taking Alex's advantage "

She shook her head. "That’s different, Noah. You can’t take anyone's advantage. You are the advantage" she joked winking at him in a flirty tone, making Noah laugh as he held her hand.

"Aww, do you love me that much?" he teased, pretending to kiss her. Just then, Alex walked in. Noah quickly let go of her hand.

"I saw that," Alex said, sitting beside him. The girl stood up quickly, looking a bit nervous.

"I’ll go get you a cold coffee," she said, hurrying away. Alex, looking tired, rested his head on the table, checking if anyone was watching. Then, he grabbed Noah’s face, pulling him down for a kiss.

"Alex..." Noah frowned, remembering the trouble they got into last time, which led to Alex’s suspension.

"Just once... a small kiss," Alex whispered, pressing his lips to Noah’s before Noah could stop him. Noah tried to pull back, but Alex didn’t let go. Suddenly, they heard a noise, and Alex quickly pulled away, looking up to see Kevin walking over with a book.

"Noah, your lips are bleeding. What happened?" Kevin asked.

"There’s a dog in my apartment. It bit me," Noah said, glaring at Alex. Kevin almost choked on his coffee.

"What? You should go to the doctor. Dog bites can be dangerous."

"Oh, it’s just a small bite, nothing serious," Noah said. Alex rested his head back on the table, staring at Noah, while Kevin opened his book.

"So, I’ve got another case to talk about," Kevin said.

" There’s a guy suspected of killing his own mother. Here are the details. Will you come with me to talk to him? I’ll bring you more of your favorite flowers."

Noah’s eyes widened. "Really? Juliet roses?"

Kevin nodded. "I bought ten for you."

"Where did you get the money for that? Are you rich now?you said you are poor not rich like alex" Noah asked, surprised. Kevin smiled.

"I’m not rich. In fact, I’m quite poor."

Alex rolled his eyes.

" Yeah, right. Have you seen my house. It’s under his name. He’s lying, he's very rich even more than me"Alex said, holding Noah’s hand.

Kevin smiled.

"Leave it anyways,The delivery man will bring the flowers in the evening. Please give them to Noah, Alex."

Noah nodded happily and started discussing the case with Kevin. Suddenly, Alex stood up, slamming the desk.

"I have some work. Let’s go," Alex said, pulling Noah. But Noah shook him off.

"Alex, we’re working. Please go get me a burger," Noah said, and Alex, pouting, started walking away. Just then, someone tapped his shoulder. Alex turned around and his eyes widened as a girl hugged him tightly. Tears filled Alex’s eyes as he hugged her back.

"Who’s that? Alex’s sister?" Noah asked, standing up. Kevin shook his head.

"She’s Alex’s ex-girlfriend. They broke up when Nina moved to Australia," Kevin explained. Noah clenched his fist.

"Oh… well, let’s go talk outside," Noah said, and they both walked away.

Later that evening, Noah was eating dinner slowly when Alex came up behind him, sitting close.

"Why did you come here without telling me? Oh, and here’s your favorite rose," Alex said, handing him the flower. But Noah threw it away angrily.

"W-what’s wrong?" Alex asked, confused.

"You were hugging her so happily earlier. You must still love her, right?" Noah said, glaring at him.

"I don’t love her. She’s just my best friend now. It’s been a long time since I saw her, so I got emotional. That’s all," Alex explained.

"Oh yeah? And what if I got emotional one day? Would you be okay with that? You wouldn’t be mad? Just go away," Noah said, pushing him.

"Noah, calm down. I swear I don’t have feelings for her. Let’s not fight over a simple hug."

"A simple hug? She’s a top model and rich. How can she be ‘simple’? I’m the one who’s nothing!" Noah said, tears in his eyes, his legs shaking in anger. Alex sighed and tried to hold his hand, but Noah slapped it away.

"Noah, baby, I didn’t "

"Don’t touch me!" Noah shouted.

"Okay... if you don’t want to talk, then fine. I’m done," Alex said and, slamming the table, he rushed away.
