When Noah sat down, he realized he was on a bed in the hospital and looked around, spotting the nurse.

"What happened? Am I dead?" he asked, and the nurse glared at him.

"Don't say such things, little guy. You fainted because of excessive weakness and heat stroke. Eat properly; you are extremely unhealthy. Your sugar level is high, and it seems you haven't had anything since yesterday. It's good that someone saw you, or you would have drowned," she said, and Noah frowned in confusion.

"But I...I was... anyways, who brought me here?" he asked, and after thinking for a moment, the nurse replied.

"Kevin, I think. That's what his name was, maybe," she said, and Noah nodded, curious.

On the other side, Alex looked at Kevin, who had just arrived at the hospital.

"Don't you dare open your mouth. Just say you saved him, okay?" he asked, and Kevin nodded, handing him the car keys as Alex immediately left.

Meanwhile, Kevin went inside, and Noah, who was sitting up, looked at him, trying to remember.

"K-Kevin?" he asked, and Kevin smiled, sitting down beside him.

"Yeah, how are you feeling?" he asked, and Noah nodded with a weak smile.

Soon, Kevin received a call from his mom and stood up.

"Apologies, I have to leave as I have an important meeting. Please take care, okay?" he said, and Noah nodded as Kevin quickly left.

For the rest of the Day For the rest of the day, Noah just slept, with food being brought by the hospital staff. The next morning, after freshening up, he was preparing to leave.

"Kevin is still outside. He came in the evening while you were sleeping and has been waiting for you to wake up. Such a sweet brother you have," the nurse said, and Noah sighed.

"Well, he's not my brother. By the way, tell him thank you from my side," he replied, and the nurse frowned.

"You can't leave. That guy strictly told us to keep you here for three days. Just rest, and call your family," she said, and Noah nodded, sitting back down.

"Please call Kevin here. It's urgent," he asked, and she nodded.

"Don't leave," she warned and left, going to where Alex was sitting.

"That guy is calling you inside. It's urgent," she said, and Alex sighed.

"Tell him Kevin isn't here, and my name is Alex, not Kevin. But don't tell him I'm here. Just make sure he's okay," he said. Nodding, the nurse went inside, but when she returned, Noah was gone, leaving only a note. She immediately took it to Alex and informed him of everything, a little scared.

"Let it be. That guy is stubborn. I know it's not your fault," Alex said, taking the note. He looked at it and smiled.

"Thank you for the treatment. Don't ask me for money... I'm poor." He chuckled at the note and soon left the place.

For two months, Noah didn’t come back. Finally, he entered his classroom, and all of his classmates were shocked to see him.

"What happened to you? Are you okay?" asked the girl he had called ugly the first time. She spoke with concern, and Noah nodded.

"Yes, I'm good," he said, walking toward his seat and sitting down beside Alex, who was pretending not to care.

"Today is your exam, all of you. Noah, I told your mom about it, but she said she would tell you. I hope you know. Don’t fail this exam, or your scholarship will be revoked," the teacher said, and Noah looked at her wide-eyed, then sighed, turning toward the window. He began to tear up, knowing he would lose his scholarship.

"What happened?" Alex asked, but Noah shook his head, trying to control his tears.

Soon, the exam started, and Noah knew he wouldn’t make it because everything was new, even the syllabus. He was intelligent, but he relied only on classes and didn’t have all the books to read.

Finally, he decided to do something. He pulled a book out of his bag and placed it under his desk, but the teacher rushed toward him and took the book away.

"Now I will make sure you lose your scholarship. Are you cheating? Do you even know how important this exam is?" she asked, and Noah was on the verge of crying when Alex stood up, holding the book.

"It’s mine. Actually, I’m done with my paper, so I was just checking it, but when you came, it slipped from my hands and ended up there," he said, and she looked at him suspiciously.

"Oh really? You’re not lying?" she asked, and Alex nodded. She looked at him furiously and told him to stand outside the class, taking his paper as well.

Once the exams were over, a sad Noah walked out and looked at Alex.

"Thank you for saving me," he said and left.

A few weeks later, the results came, and Noah was sure he had lost his scholarship. When the teacher handed him the result, as expected, he had failed the exams.

"So, my scholarship will be revoked?" he asked, but she shook her head.

"Kevin's dad paid for your scholarship. Next time, don’t do this. Study hard," she said with a smile, and a crying Noah ran out, looking for someone. He spotted Alex.

"Where’s your brother?" he asked, and Alex pointed to another classroom where Kevin was talking to someone. Running over, Noah grabbed his hands.

"Thank you so much! Thank you for helping me. I’ll pay you back once I get a job... thanks for helping me," he said, and Kevin smiled, looking confused.

"Hey Noah, come here immediately," his class teacher called out.

"Thank you so much," Noah repeated before leaving, and soon Alex came over.

"So that’s why you were begging Dad last night?" Kevin asked, and Alex rolled his eyes.

"Of course not. Why would I beg? Anyway, let's grab some burgers," Alex said, and they went to the canteen.
