Ch-21 [First Kiss..........GONE]

“Yn?” Your dad looked bewildered.

“Yes, Dad, I don't want to marry. Jungkook is a good guy, and I don't want to destroy his future by marrying him.” You started sobbing. Before, you didn't care about Mi-Cha's words, but now, in this situation, you can't totally ignore her.

“He doesn't deserve a person like me, Dad. I don't want to marry.” You cried out.

“And what if I don't allow you to break this marriage?”

You and your dad snapped your heads toward the door where the voice was coming from.

“J-Jungkook.” Your voice came out as a whisper. He was standing in the doorframe with his hands in his pockets, looking at you with an unreadable expression.

“Oh, Jungkook, come inside.” Your dad welcomed him. Without breaking eye contact with you, he came inside, handing you the paper bag he bought while coming back from the office.

“I just came here to check on you, but I didn't know that you were eager to come here just to make this decision.” His words stabbed at your heart.

“I-I... think about your future, Jungkook. What will you do with me? I am just...”

“A human. A human being with a minor disease. And I am willing to spend my future with you.” As he said this, you looked at him with your teary eyes.

Seeing the tension between you two, your dad quietly left that place to give you both privacy.

“Jungkook, you are not understanding,” you said.

“I am understanding everything: that you are backing off from your promise. I told you I was serious about it from the very first, and you can't back off right now. And even if you want to, I won't let you. Because if I marry someone, the person will be only YOU.” His frustration was noticeable.

“Jungkook...” you tried to calm him down. “I don't want to hear a single thing. You're marrying me, and that's final. I don't care what others are saying or whatever. We will go through treatment, and in no time, you will be fine.” His forehead veins were visible till now.

“Trust me, Min Yn, you're bound to me. Even if you run away, I will turn the whole damn world upside down just to be with you. MARK MY WORDS.” Saying that, he stormed out of the house, leaving you in shock. It was the first time you saw his anger, and it's no joke.

Hearing Jungkook's car horn, your dad came down and embraced you. “D-Dad, he is not understanding,” you cried your heart out in your dad's embrace. While your dad was thanking God for giving a loyal partner to his daughter but still worried about your opinion.

“Sweetheart, both of you are mature enough. And I think you should also consider Jungkook's words. I don't know what to tell you, but yeah, communication is the key to a relationship. Talk with him with a calm mind. A solution will come out on its own.” He caressed your hair to soothe you, and you nodded in response.

It's almost midnight, and you were tossing and turning on your bed. You took your phone, wondering if it would be the right decision to call him now.

After a lot of thinking, you dialed his number. After the second ring, he picked up and said, “Hello.” As soon as he said that, you flinched, cut the call in a hurry, and threw the phone far away on the bed.

On the other side, Jungkook frowned at your strange behavior. Suddenly, his screen lit up again, and again it's YOU. He picked up the call again and said, “Yn?” but once more, the same thing happened: you cut the call.

Here, you placed your hand on your chest, panicking about what to say. “Shit, Yn! What are you doing? He might think you’re a creepy woman. Okay, I am doing this one last time, and this time I am gonna talk.” You punched the air, showing so much courage, but your hand was eventually trembling.
