23- Realize

"Aera, stop bringing all this; I'm full" Kala says, taking the last piece of apple to her mouth, while Aera smiles and says " it's an order from His Highness to feed you at some interval" Holding her stomach, she lay down on the garden couch. Aera smiles at the princess. She had been hoping to see her friend who had been away for several days, and now everything feels surreal. She needs to pinch herself to remember their princess is back with them. Kala sat up straight, looked at Aera, and said, "Aera, you know, I learned to make pots there."

The enthusiasm on her face pleased Aera for a moment before she replied, "Our princess learned one more art, that's great." Kala nods joyfully and asks " Can you arrange for a pot wheel and clay for me? " Aera smiled at the princess and left to arrange for the requested item. She sighed and smiled as she turned to her left, only to be startled by the presence of someone. King Namjoon had not been there since she came, and seeing him standing in front of her made her feel self-conscious. She walks in front of him and bowing slightly.

"Welcome to Malya, your Majesty" While King Namjoon looked at her, she averted her gaze and he said, "I am delighted to be invited by the king." Saying this, he instructs his guards to leave them alone. As they take their seats in front of one other, they exchange smiles. King Namjoon was so busy with his kingdom's work, improving the infrastructure throughout the kingdom, that he didn't have time to see the princess, even though he was keen to do so. This kingly responsibility prevented him from distracting his mind. So he completed all of his duties in four months, just to meet her.

Seeing her in front of him gives him so much comfort. She looks down at her fingers, which are twiddling together. The king's intense stare makes her frightened. His presence intimidates her, and she feels little in front of him, as if it is the first time she has met him. Clearing his throat, he says, "How are you, princess?" She glances at him and says, "I am good, your majesty." Saying this, she waited for him to say anything, but when he remained silent, she asked, "When did you arrive here?Did you meet my brother and father?"

Chukling at her remarks, he nods his head, and she glances at him, perplexed as to why he suddenly chuckled. " I've been here since the morning, and because you opted to eat lunch in the garden, you're unaware of my coming" She glances at him, her lips forming an ohh, and a frown creeps on her face as she questions "why no one informed me of your visit" She adores this place, and she wanted to spend her time here today, so she hasn't left since she arrived. "Because I requested them not to tell you, however it appears that this was my punishment for not informing you previously".

She shook her head and said, "I apologize for my behaviour, your majesty, but believe me, that was not my intention." Namjoon had hoped to startle her with his unexpected entrance, but his luck ran out, and he eventually decided to come here to meet her. He was going to say anything when Aera came and bowed at him. She then looked at Kala and said, "Princess, your highness has asked for you both to meet him." Nodding her head, she looks at him and states, "Father wants to meet us; please accompany me, your majesty." She stood up from her seat, followed by Namjoon, and the two of them walked to the hall, where her father and Jimin were waiting.

Her father smiles at them and says, "I was waiting for you two, my child." Nodding, she took her seat on the side couch, while Aera stood alongside her. Namjoon sat alongside Jimin and gave him a short nod. "Why did you summon us here, father?" She inquires, feeling Jimin's mischievous gaze on her, but everyone turns to her father, who tells her " Jimin has invited King Namjoon to meet today to discuss a very important matter. Everything has returned to normal, and now that King Namjoon is free from his kingdom's duties for a while, Jimin and even I wants you both to look forward to your relationship"
