Oh hello

I push against the heavy door as the warm air rushes towards me. It's cold over here, luckly I'm inside for the next few hours.

I walked around admiring the wonderful building I stepped into. I run my hand over the covers of the books. I've always loved libraries, the peaceful silence that dominates the room.

I get up, on my way to get my second cup of tea. I've found a lot of information that I can use at the meeting tomorrow. I can feel my nerves build up thinking about the meeting, I've got no idea who is going to be there. Before I know it I bump into a guy. "Oh sorry" "It's okay, don't worry about it". I look up into 2 deep brown eyes "You speak English?". If there is one thing that I have learned in the past 24 hours, it is that many Germans do not speak English. "Yeah, born and raised there". He gives me a smile before giving me a hand "Tyler" "Harper". "Well, do you have an open seat near you, Harper?". I give him a nod.

Before I know it, it is time to go. I pack my stuff when he looks up. "You're going?" "Yeah, I've got this big meeting tomorrow morning". "Oh, is there any chance that you'll have some time after this big meeting?". I give him a smirk "Like a date?" "If you want" "A coffee date at 1pm sounds good" "Great". He gives me a piece of paper with his phone number. "Pick a place and I'll be there". I take the piece of paper, I've never felt this alive.
