The truth

As my alarm goes off for 8am, I get up, go back to my room and get my clothes on. I suddenly get a notification from the boys group chat.

Da boyz 💙

KSI(mon is real): yo (y/n) are you alr??

Me: yeah I'm fine
Me: can I come round? I need to speak to you guys. Or are you boys busy?

Boggo: yeah course, want picking up?

Me: nah I'll walk, thanks tho boggo

Tobes🫣💙: see you soon 🫶

As I unlock the door, I turn around to make sure Nathan isn't awake and to my luck he isn't so I creep out, making my way over to the sidemen house.

Once I knock on the door, Tobi opens it almost immediately. "Hey. Is everyone here?" I ask.
"Yeah why?" He replies, shutting the door behind me. "I need to speak to you all." I say, sitting down on the sofa as Tobi shouts all the boys to come down.
A few minutes later, 6 pairs of feet come down the stairs and sit down either next to me or across from me.
"So." I say, looking from boy to boy.
"So?" JJ says.
"So. I need to talk to you about Nathan. This is really hard for me to say but-" I start, getting cut off as the door abruptly opens and Freya, Talia and Ellie burst through the door. "Sorry to bust in like this, Simon told us it was an emergency!" Talia says, out of breath.
"It's ok." I say, smiling. "I'm actually glad your here"
When everyone is sat down, they all go quiet. "So as I was saying. About Nathan, it's a really hard thing for me to say as I've never spoken to anyone about this and he would probably kill me if I told you but.." I say, rolling my sleeves up, showing all the scratches and white scars. Then I turn around, "Do you mind Tobes?" I say looking at him, as he's sat next to me, then looking at my tee shirt. He lifts the back of my shirt up to reveal all the purple bruises all over my back, before turning back around and looking at everyone.
"(Y/n).. did.. did Nathan do that to you?.." Freya asks, slowly. I look at her then look down.
"Oh.. oh my god.." Ellie gasps.
"I never really thought to tell anyone as he threatened me not to or else he'd kill me. B-but it's n-no big deal!" I say quickly.
"(Y/n). Look at me." I do as I'm told.
"We are here. We are going to help you out of this situation. I promise." Simon says to me, holding my hands. I smile slightly without noticing that JJ had once again grabbed my phone and called Nathan. "Didn't I tell you not to disturb me?!" Nathan says, annoyed.
"What did I tell you about touching my sister." JJ snarls into the phone angrily.  Silence.
"You guys are done. She's breaking up with you and you go near her or ever talk to her again I'm calling the police. Do not contact my sister again." He says, ending the call and blocking the number as Tobi hugs me.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you.." I say quietly, as Tobi breaks the hug yet doesn't let go of my hands. "It's ok. Your safe now." Vik says.
"But where am I going to go? I sleep there, all my stuff is there. I can't go back." I say.
"Stay here. Stay here with us." Ethan says looking around as all the boys nod.
"Are you sure?" I say.
"Of course!" JJ says. "I mean, we do like you staying here!" He adds. "Thanks guys!" I reply.

The next day, I wake up feeling.. well.. happier. More energetic and free. I get up, put some clothes on and go to the kitchen and start making pancakes. Around 20 minutes later, Simon, JJ, Tobi and Josh come down and sit at the table. "Woah! Thanks (y/n) these are delicious!" Josh says as Ethan, Harry and Vik join us.

Suddenly, after 2 years, I feel happy again. I feel like myself again. I'm finally free from Nathan.
