How to NOT write pjo fanfiction-rant

So, where do I start.

OC's.
Why is the story always written like this:
Lighting Marine Deathgirl threw her tanktop on the ground and walked outside to meet Percy. They swam and got food and he kissed her. Our tongues fought for dominance, as his green orbs stared into my sea blue one. Then Annabeth came along and tried to stab us but we jumped into the Atlantic and launched into space and Chaos cared for us. Then we got blessed by every god.
LIKE NO!

1. Please stop using "orbs"
2. Just say kiss. It's not gonna kill you.
3. Being blessed by every god? You have a bigger chance to win the lottery than to be even blessed by one.
4. Why is Chaos being thrown into this?
5. What happened to third person...

It might seem like I'm exaggerating, but you don't even wanna know how much of these fics I stumble across. Mc is always a girl, has to fall in love with Leo, Percy or Nico, is a member of the seven. And let's not forget about jealous Annabeth.

Even if we ignore most of these things, Annabeth wouldn't be a jealous ex. Sure, her behaviour towards Rachel isn't recommended, that was before they dated. Annabeth had feeling for Percy and was too afraid or whatever to address them. Jealousy would be logical.

But after they dated, she would have a mindset like "if he's a cheater, she can have him". Sure, she would be heartbroken, incredibly sad, but not a stalking ex! Percy wouldn't ever cheat. If characters are gonna be OOC, please address that!
