An autumn school day.
I'm stood at the bus stop at 6 am, I'm in my brown coat that has pegs to tie it together along with a brown hood, since it was always chilly due to morning due it's also wet so I have a flower patterned scarf that is wrap around my neck. Since it's coming to autumn, I have put tights on instead of socks along with lace-up shoes.I stand quivering with my hands in pockets, I have 2 pounds ready for single bus ride, after standing around in the wind and cold the bus finally arrives, I state where I want to go and I give the man two pound for the bus ride he the prints of a receipt before handing it to me
Since it's so early in the morning, many seats were free, so I took the window seat on the third row and closed the entrance of the bus. I place my white book bag on the seat beside me, I grab my iPod along with my headphones, and I plug my headphones in before putting them over my ears, I turn on my iPod and I play the songs saved on it.After a few minutes into the bus ride, I begin to see many people I recognise that go to the same high-school as me, though I've never really interacted with them and they don't talk to me either unless they ask me to move my bag so they can talk to their friends. Once we get to the rich side of town, the girls on the bus go into a whisper when a guy about 5ft10, maybe 5ft11 and growing walks in with pale skin, brown curly hair and forest green eyes, his face and arms filled with freckles with a stupid beauty mark under his right eye. That's right, that's Oliver Richmand, one of the known rich, outgoing fake nice guys known to be good in bed.
And he's a massive #### every time I see him, I just want to curl up and die as he's so stupid, not academically, God forbid he should be bad at anything! So I turn away from the aisle as he tends to go upstairs, that's when I feel someone take off my earphones I look up to see Oliver "Hey can I sit next to you?" He asks in his posh southern accent. I nod, not trusting my mouth as I'll probably stutter, so I remove my bag from the seat, and I put it on my lap. Just before I put my headphones back on, he asks me, "He can I have Georgia's phone number? I heard she's single at the moment. " I can't help but stare at him bewildered. Of course, why would he want to sit next to me and chat god forbid! "Um I'm sorry but I uh I'm not friends with Georgia anymore" I answer he scoffs as he chuckled before sitting next to me "I asked for her phone number not if you guys are friends" he states his voice going low I gulp as I shake my head "I don't have it anymore" he sighs before running a hand through his hair "whatever" he mumbles
I wait a few seconds, but he doesn't move to go upstairs to his friends as I try to encourage myself to ask him, however my brain wins so I put my earphones back on as I look outside, I look at many trees that have been affected by the autumn season as their leaves are turning orange as they begin to fall down onto the ground. Not long after the bus comes to a stop, I look to see we have reached St Edwards high-school so I take my earphones off and I put them in my bag along with my iPod, I look over to see Oliver getting up so I do the same I get up as I put my book bag on before going in to the building of stress and unrealistic expectations, I sigh as I go in, I know my timetable off by heart as I've already been here 2 years already as I reach my English class.
I sit down in my designated seat in the mid row behind Mary, Mrs Glen comes in as she puts down at least 10 books on her desk "today and for the rest of this term we are going to be studying romeo and juliet" he sighs as she gives us the books "this is on the exam so please pay attention ad I want to help you all pass the exam this year" she smiles, she then sits down and logs into her computer, however her PowerPoint isn't working "do any of you know how to help me with this?" She asks as she puts on her large, thick, rimmed glasses, then a boy stands up. Elis, one of Olivers friends, stands up and helps the teacher.Elis is alright. Sometimes, we'll chat on the way to class, but we don't actually hang out or anything, but he's the only one I like out of his friend group. However, I can tell this day is going to drag.
