I sigh as I tap my pen against the table already full of students' drawings of disks, hearts, and couples names.
I look down at my exercise book that contains notes with highlighted random key facts I could careless about, when the bell rings to signal school has finished everyone rushes out ignoring the teachers shout, I stand up as I grab my bag I put on my coat, fastening it up before put my bag on my shoulder as I walk out the classroom.

I make my way through the crowded hallways that are full of a variety of students wanting to escape the building that has kept them captive for eight long hours, I grab my Ipod and my headphones, I root through my pockets only to find I only have a pound I sigh as I sit at the bus stop, many students have  gathered round it waiting for their own buses, going to Preston, Blackburn, astley village and more. After 2 hours I continue to wait and search my bag for another pound before the bus arrives when it suddenly begins to rain "great, just great" I mumble to myself as I slouch defeatedly when i look to see Oliver running to the bus stop, panting as he sits beside me using his left hand to push his hair back , I look away as soon as he glances at me with a raised brow "everything OK?" He asks, his southern accent peaking through.

I bite my lip, unsure if I should tell him or not when he peers down at my hands "here." I look over at him confused "eh?" He sighs as he gives me another pound, my eyes widen."Why?" I ask, he shrugs before saying "it's raining, I highly doubt you have an umbrella plus I can always get my dad to come pick me up" I roll my eyes "thanks I guess" I say begrudgingly, the rest of what felt like an hour only appeared to be ten minutes of silence his flipphone suddenly rings making us both jump "christ" he mutters as he answers, I watch as the bus arrives, as I get on I look back at him before paying and sitting in my usual seat, I plug my earphones into the IPod before putting them on my ears and pressing play. I sigh once again as I look at him through the window, I can see him getting progressively angry as his shouting and hand gestures as he speaks becomes more obvious.

The doors closed on the bus before it set off, I watched as the world went by, and I watched as the rain fell down l, forming small puddles onto the pavement which slowly grew into bigger puddles, I take my homework out my bag hoping to get it finished before getting back, I look down at my maths homework, I take a pencil out my bag before showing my working out before I forget, I finish the work sheet by the time it's reaching my stop, so I quickly put my homework in my bag and I press the stop button before slowly making my way to the front of the bus to get off, he nods his hat towards me as I leave the bus, I put my hood up as I run home.
I grab my key to unlock the door to find it's already open so I head in and take my shoes, I take my bag off before hanging it up "you look like a drowned rat, go get dry love" my mum says as she quickly takes my coat off to put it in the dryer, so I go up to my room to peel the wet uniform off my skin and I put it in my washing basket. I grab a pair of matching black pajamas, black fluffy trousers with a black long sleeves button down top, onto of that I put my cred dressing gown off that smells like it's been washed today as it smells of jasmine and sunny days.

I tie my hair up in a bobble before heading down stairs were my mum is making a hot chocolate "who's that for?" I ask, she smiles as she stirs to the milk "you, you dickhead" she says as if it's a matter of fact making me chuckle as I hum while I shake my head "thank you mum" I hug her, she awkwardly hugs me back before getting back to the hot chocolate "how was school?" She asks I shrug "it was alright, I stopped hanging out with she who must not be named" she hums "it's about time, I told you ghat girl had a few screws loose" mum comments as she adds the hot chocolate powder.

I smile at my mum as she tries not to spill any of the hot chocolate while she puts into my pumpkin mug "I'm sorry if it's shit" mum says handing Mr the mug, i take a sip "it's good, better than your last attempt" she laughs as she washes up the pan.
